Smarty Stop Assorted Slice Wedges Candy (2 LB)

Yummy. Tast great. We buythese ever couple weeks. Nice snack while watching movies. They do have alot of sugar on them. All colors taste difference. I have had some that all colors taste the same.

I hide from myself. Trusting my daddy’s faa as vorite candy will not call me out daily. That’s so hard to do. Smarty slice wedges are always fresh and tastes like the slices we bought by the pound every time we went taken downtown to shop. I am convinced we don't have to grow up beyond the happy stuff of our childhood.

The candy is so coated with sugar and cornstarch..the colors are barely discernible. This bag was 90%red or pink candies with only a few green ,orange and yellow . And they were hard. Not easy to chew Not buying again

I purchase these for my Mom and it seems like almost everything SWEET is a winner! I guess at 94 you can enjoy anything that you want. Mom loves the taste of these and the texture is good being they are not too hard. ;-)

We bought 5lbs of another brand as my wife loves them for when her blood sugar drops. They were flavorful and soft so I went to buy more and found this brand for about $6 cheaper. Knowing many candies are produced by the same companies and have similar tastes and such, I bought these for about $20. They come in a simple, zipper top plastic bag. Flavor - the flavor were a bit weak comparing to the other brand. The initial bite released a bit of the fruit flavor that did not intensify as much as I expected as the piece was chewed. Some of the after-flavors almost had a medicinal aftertaste, not like a burn, but more of a "chemical" or "ingredient" flavor instead of the fruit flavor. The fruit flavor dissipates fairly quickly on some flavors but the orange and lemon seemed to last a little longer. Texture - the candies were extremely dense and gummy. I prefer a softer texture as these tended to break down into smaller bits instead of dissolving as it was chewed. Size - I think the size was adequate. They may be a tiny bit smaller than some others but not enough to feel "cheated."
