How to Write a Story, Grades 4-6+

Such a good little booklet to help kids at home.

I don’t Know if my kid does but I like it lol. Early 5th grade material.

It is a great book if your child is struggling in writing, reading. Teaches the steps of writing a great story and has improved my 10 year old granddaughter vocabulary and reading skills.

My son wanted to write after the first use of this book, i mean the first 6 pages he was willing to write. Very pleased.

I’m very excited about this being used as curriculum for my 4th grader. He is creative and his imagination is great. I figure let’s push that in a good direction with how to write stories. It is taking some encouragement, but he’s having fun with this.

I thought I would like this book, but it was a let down. It moved too slow. I can see this working for 3rd-4th grade but not 6th. It was too simple. Especially if you have a child that loves to write. I really like the younger aged workbooks, but this one just wasn't a good fit.

I really like the assignments - they are out of the box and it keeps my boy entertained. It’s very creative !

Was expecting lots of examples on plan,solution,setting but did not find much.
