EalionMed Transparent Film Dressing

I used this for healing my hand poked tattoos on my hands. It stays on strong when applied to dried skin (if your skin is wet from applying lotion, cream, ointments, it will not stay stuck. and that applies for all tape). It does not irritate my skin, and wells bandaids destroy me. I read reviews of saniderm and second skin causing intense reactions and decided to stay clear of them. So far after 24 hours It has held on well and caused zero itchiness, redness, or discomfort. I'm using it on my wrist and finger, so it's in a high use location and has stayed on well. I'm impressed and very happy. Note, in this photo I'm using the ealion tape on my wrist and another brand on my finger. However, when I changed my bandages after the initial 24 hours , I decided to use the ealion bandages for both locations and just made an incision in the bandage so that I could wrap it around my finger and knuckle easier. The 50 pack is a good value compared to other brands as well. I'm also happy that these will come in handy for waterproof bandaging on my kids. They have a habit of washing their hands with bandaids on them and not changing them. Gross! So this ought to help with that.

Perfect to keep your wounds vovered

This worked really well to cover a temporary heart monitor, but, the first time I used it, then started to remove it, it was stuck to the heart monitor and would have pulled it off, too. I had to cut it off around the edge of the monitor, then the next time I showered I covered the monitor with an XL bandaid, then put this bandage over all of it. That worked. It pulls some when you remove it, and my skin was red but it went away. It seems completely waterproof if you follow the directions closely and seal it up really well around the edges.

I'm a retired surgeon. In addition to my private practice I also saw patients in a wound care clinic for many years. As you'd expect, I've had a significant amount of experience with a lot of wound care products. Even in retirement, family and friends ask me to take a look at various injuries with some frequency so I keep a fairly extensive collection of medical supplies on hand - hemostatic agents, suture kits, Israel battle dressings, suture kits, assorted bandages etc.. Last year I decided to try this EalionMed brand of transparent dressing when a neighbor had a nasty gash in his leg from a car accident. I liked the large 10cm x 12cm size and found that it worked as well as much more expensive brands I've used. In fact, its performance was indistinguishable. I've used it several times since, most recently today. I just finished dressing a partial thickness friction burn on my brother in law's leg (he got his dog's leash wrapped around his leg just as the dog took off chasing something). I applied an antiseptic dressing and used this film dressing to hold it in place. The dressing worked so well for me today and all the other times I've used it that I'm taking the time to write this review. This is a quality product offered at a very fair price. If you have need of a transparent film dressing this should serve you well.

I am a frequent buyer of this item and brand. I use it for covering cream 1 hour before a treatment as well as to cover my Libre 3 Plus to keep it on. Most adhesives burn me but this one is awesome! Please NEVER change the formula! It is also easy to remove without tearing your skin. Again, phenomenal product!
