Been shining cars since I was driving on my knees, and I have learned a lot when it comes to automotive finishes,, a lot of advancement in what paint can do and what it is not.. and the advancement in care products have advanced to keep up with demands and with added pollution in the air. Old school brands are still here because they have street credit.. There is a lot of new lookers and heart breaker junk out there from people I cannot even begin to say who and what they are or do.. but I value my finish on my rides and I love products that work, are easy to use, have someone you can call for advice and problems, and have your back on their products.. Meguiar's is one of these companies. The gold class changed all the rules when it drove into town a few years back and it has not slowed down, Who does not like a wax/protectant that goes on easy, and is easy to remove.. ? A wax that has emollients that keep your cars finish from drying out and fading..? Deep wet look? Its all here. I also like the fact that it is in a bottle instead of a can (For me its easier) for those who have two left hands and want to get into the da buffer polisher.. Or old schoolers that do the Pat Morita and wax on wax off al l by hand. The deep finish will repel water like little beads.. and slides right off... I will keep my bottle.. Buy you one and try it on your ride. A good damp sponge applicator pad, a section at a time.. some terry microfiber cloths and some good music and when its finished see yourself in the paint.

I'm a repeat customer. I settled on using Meguiar's wax several years ago because of its quality. It leaves a deep shine, is easy to apply and remove and lasts a long time.

This review is for Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Plus Premium Liquid Wax. I’ve used this product for around 15 years on various cars. I usually apply twice a year- depending on how busy I am - around Memorial Day and Labor Day typically. I live in SE Wisconsin, where roads are salted in the winter, so I really try to take care of the paint as much as I can. This product consistently makes for a beautiful and glossy shine, and I believe helps protect the paint. I can no longer find this product in big box stores, or auto stores, around me, but luckily Amazon is selling it. This wax is extremely easy to apply and remove. I apply and remove by hand, completing one section before moving on to the next. I use old tshirts to apply and remove, then I go over it one last time with a microfiber clothe to really make it shine and get spots of wax that I missed removing earlier. Whole process takes me 2.5-3 hours. I put on some jams and go to my happy place. My time spent is worth it! I’ve included some “after” pictures from the waxing I did this weekend on my 2015 Xterra. She is 9 years old this year. It rained later the same day I waxed it, so you can really see how the water beads up well. I love this product, please do not stop making it.
