The mouse pad is very good when it is first used because it does not slip. However, the sticky backing tends to wear out and then the mouse slips all over the place and becomes worthless. I am saying this because I had to reorder another one after the first one wore out. In other words, they are great while they last, but plan on buying new ones as their backing wears off and they become slippery. Whatever you do, do not drop it on the floor and have the sticky backing collect "slippery dust" because that will ruin your backing very fast. No big deal since they are inexpensive.

Very pleased with this mouse pad. The pattern is just as pretty in person as it is online. The size is great and I love that it has that little swoop in to help it fit better around my keyboard. The texture of the surface works well with my mouse, no sticking or struggling and the wrist pad is really comfortable to use. I was having issues with numbness in my thumb and index finger and once I started using the mousepad and supporting my hand/wrist while I was using the mouse, the numbness went away. I've tried other mouse pads before that were too boxy and didn't fit on my desk well, but this surpasses my expectations for such a simple little thing.

This is just a cheap foam pad! There is no gel cushion or above mentioned base. not at all worth the price!
