Nicest fabric I have ever used
Have done a number of smaller upholstery projects before, but have never used a fabric that was as easy to handle as this one. It is heavy enough that staples hold it down securely, and has just a bit of stretch; this eliminates the problem of overstretching that you run into with lighter materials. For this sectional I kept the pattern running in the same direction, but when I goofed on one section, I noticed that it wasn’t even noticeable. I think this is ideal for a novice upholsterer. My main tools were a good rechargeable stapler, a rechargeable rotary cutter, and a hot melt glue gun. I forgot to mention that this fabric adheres to itself like it’s been epoxied when you hot melt glue it to itself! Once you hold it in place for a minute it simply does not come apart. No need to sew!

Perfect for drapes.
I originally purchased this material for a sofa cover. But decided it would make a great set of drapes for my guest bedroom. Just the right weight. And thickness. And the price was ok to. The material is wrinkle free, and sews well. Not to thick, like most upholstery material.

Very attractive, good feel
I'm not someone who sews or re-upolsters so I was sort of flying blind with this purchase. I was actually looking for something that I might be able to use to cover rock-wool insulation to make a sound-absorbing acoustic panel. I ordered the Myla Poppy pattern hoping it would stand alone on it's own as wall decoration. I'm impressed with the quality. If I didn't know better I would probably assume it was a heavy cotton fabric.. close to what I'd consider a light canvas. It's an appropriate weight for furniture covering but much heavier than an acoustic fabric. Still, I'm going to try it out on an acoustic panel anyway since it's so pretty, and because I'm likely going to try and compress standard rock wool to increase it's density.. so a heavier fabric would help with that. There's a certain 'wallpaper' quality to the weave pattern that lends itself to being a wall panel. I figure even if it's not ideal as an acoustically transparent material, It'll still provide some dampening and allow some sound to pass through to underlying acoustic materials... while adding to the aesthetics of the room. It may end up being more useful as a cover for a thin acoustic panel that'll I'll mount behind a guitar wall-hanger or as a pin-board.

COLOR SHOWN NOT CORRECT!
This fabric is heavy weight and very beautiful however, the color of the tips of the branches you see on Amazon show a sage green when in fact it is a DARK GRAY. I gave it five stars because of it's quality. The colors just didn't work for me. Rather than pay $5 to return it, I'm just donating.

Dover Ivory
I refinish furniture but this was my first time reupholstering something. Overall this fabric was great but there are pros and cons. Cons: There seems to be a better/softer side of the fabric and I didn’t realize that until I had already finished the top part of this chair. The fabric also frays soooo easily on the edges so there were some areas where my measurements were just right and I was nervous about stapling too close to the edge and it just unraveling, but it worked out alright. I was also pretty annoyed that the Dover Ivory color was about $20 more expensive than the rest of the colors. Pros: The fabric is soft and comfortable but also durable so I think it’ll hold up good in the long run. It’s also very pretty and makes your furniture look like good quality.

The weight of the material was perfect for my purpose. Also the colours were true to the sample picture. I will use it to reupholster a family heirloom, a nurse’s chair. Very pleased.
