International Cookware Arcuisine Borosilicate Glass Round Casserole w/Lid 17.8 Centimeters / 1 Liter

I bought this item as a test--I've never used Arcuisine products before. I am very pleased with the results. I use this chiefly as a re-warming dish, both in the oven and in the microwave. My kids' meals are frequently leftovers from the night before, and I got tired of using the microwave, odd bowls, and covering them with paper towel. Believe it or not, since we bought this we've actually cut back on paper towel usage! Score right there. I also take this to work. I don't like the idea of using plastic (BPA-free/phthalate-free or not!) to re-heat food, so this was a natural. Our other Pyrex casseroles were, of course, too big. This one fits nicely into the insulated lunchbag I stole from my wife, bottoms-down. There is, of course, no gasket on the lid--so you have to store it right-side up. It is entirely clear, with that blue cast to it that you see in the photo. The design on the side is just a sticker, not an enameled design motif--I had mistaken it as such when I looked at it the first time on my tiny mobile screen. When I first got it, I was disappointed that I'd missed that it doesn't have a knob on the top lid. That means you have to use your fingers on the sides of the lid. On the other hand, it means that you can stack other stuff on top of it! I am using an exclamation point there because we live in one of those shoe-box apartments in NYC that you hear about on television, and this is a really handy feature. I'm going to buy another one because my wife has been eyeing it jealously of late.

Got this mainly for healthy popcorn It worked great A little coconut oil and 1/4 cup organic popcorn can even add shredded coconut Don't have to worry about high heat cracking the container and I can see the corn popping in the microwave oven

Needed another small casserole dish. Holds two cans of peas or green-beans. Only dislike is they embossed the logo on the bottom of inside so spoon rattles across it when scooping out. Have used in toaster oven and microwave.

Perfect for small cassaroles.

Does not scratch as fast as US pyrex. But small, one liter max but not one liter usable...

The bowl I received is not the same shape as listed. While it is a very nice Arcuisine bowl in the correct size, the handles and lid are not the same. The bowl I received is the same design the 1.6L version also sold on Amazon.

I liked the bowl. BUT THE LID HAD BIG CHIPS OUT OF IT!! IT WAS NOT EVEN RAPED WITH ANYTHING! THERE WAS SLIVERS OF GLASS IN THE BOWL! NOT HAPPY WITH IT AT ALL!!

Right size for what we needed - no problems

Las limitaciones de uso de esta cazuela con quemadores de gas , usando planchas de hierro intermedias, desaparecen. Las mejores cocinas económicas, las de leña y carbón de toda la vida, en eso se basan. Para quien sepa y disfrute, cocinar es un placer, no un falso arte ni un programa de televisión. Y a 'fuego bajo', una delicia el resultado. En cristal cualquier cocción es natural, por más que al acero inoxidable, al hierro fundido, o a cualquier aluminio prensado o fundido, pretendan hacerlos imprescindibles en la cocina: sin perjuicio de los vidrios sosa-cal templados que de tan buenos son de otra liga, hay vidrios borosilicatados que son químicamente inertes en la cocción, y sirven por poco precio para llegar a niveles de calidad culinaria por encima de historiados y muy caros utensilios de otra estructura metálica de diseño sofisticado. Cantos de Sirena... Vaya, que si te gusta cocinar, lo sabes...

Ideal for the microwave. You can also put the bowl on the top shelf of the dishwasher but not the lid. It can chip so best to wash it by hand

Está muy bien. Para todo tipo de horno. Se puede lavar en el lavavajillas.

Extrem gute Qualität! Sehr stabil. Kann ohne Sorgen für Mikrowelle und Geschirrspüler genutzt werden. Produkt ist den Preis absolut wert. Habe mir gleich 3 Größen (von 1,2 bis 2,3 Ltr.) bestellt und bin absolut zufrieden damit. Passen auch wunderbar ineinander und lassen sich gut im Schrank verstauen. Das Glas ist auch ordentlich stark genug und die Deckel schließen auch gut ab.
