easy install, factory look and feel, auto dimming, screen is brightness adjustable!
so I bought a base f150 long bed...and of course it did not have a reverse camera....so after research I decided on this and a BOYO tailgate camera....couldn't be happier!after installing the camera and routing the wire inside the cab of the truck, I removed my factory mirror with a small screw driver,by placing that in the hole on top of the mirror where it attaches to the windshield and slowly prying downward as I held the mirror and gently pulled downward also..in 5 seconds the mirror was off! This mirror WILL fit ALL Ford,Lincoln, and Mercury factory windshield tabs...This mirror also comes WITH a replacement tab...so if yours fell off or is missing you can get windshield adhesive at an auto parts store for like $3 and glue this tab on...or if this mirror does not fit your factory tab/you can glue this tab to the left or right of the factory tab...and once you put this mirror on you will not see the other tab :) so back to this mirror...it installs in seconds, slides onto tab and has set screw to hold in place/wrench included...then run the wire harness down the drivers side a pillar/plenty long enough wire. connect the yellow rca to the camera yellow rca....connect the reverse light wire to the reverse light output.....then there are 2 wires to power up the mirror....one is ground, and the other is to a key on hot wire..this mirror has 2 inputs..one for the reverse camera and the other for a front camera if you like,or can be connected to anything with a video out with yellow rca cable....I only have it for the reverse camera....and for that, this works great! it is hard wired, always on when in reverse, clear picture, large screen...3.5" the mirror looks factory,is very clear.....and is slightly, slightly tinted as another reviewer spoke of, but as you'll see in the pic's unable to detect..this mirror as auto dimming..so at night is someone is behind you with bright lights/ this will auto dim! bonus! the screen for the camera is clear and is able to adjust brighter or darker for your likes..took about 15 minuter to install and connect power and camera (once the camera was wired) feels and looks factory! very sturdy, does not shake or vibrate, screen is invisible until it is turned on! very pleased with this...I am only writing this review and posting pics because this is what I wanted to see when searching for the best camera and screen for my truck..hope this helps you update...4 years later...purchased this mirror again! installed in my new jeep! had perfect performance in my f-150 and now perfect in my jeep.

Works Ok, Looks Ok, here's some instructions
The mirror alone was a simple install running the wire took some effort and time but I got it done in 1hr.I'm an avg dyi guy and installed on my Lexus 250. I tapped the power on my center console cigarette lighter. Red & green "reverse" wire on red power, black on black. Run the yellow video cable to the trunk (extra yellow cable came with my back up camera not this mirror). I continued the wire behind the center console under the carpet and back seat and snaked it to the trunk camera.I bought a taotronics licsence plate camera in conjunction with the mirror. Both work together fine.I marked this down a star because the instructions didn't mention using the green wire on the same power source as the red wire, found that off someone else's review when it didn't work after installing. But I hooked it up as aforementioned and no problems anymore. I also marked it down cause the backup guidelines are crap, but I know how to back up a car between the lines. I use it to see what's behind me so I don't run anyone over and I can be lazy and not look out the back window. As for the mirror it does look OEM and I have no trouble seeing anything with it as a mirror or back up camera

I definitely recommend buying a test light for use during installation
I somehow blew out the fuse while installing so I had to buy some replacement fuses. There are two video inputs. If you connect to the one labelled Camera, you also need to wire the green wire to the same power source that powers your camera. I opted to just connect to the other video input. I definitely recommend buying a test light for use during installation. I used this one: http://www.amazon.com/Wilmar-W2981-Performance-Circuit-Tester/dp/B000N321MOThe screen is not as bright as I would like during the day, but it's still visible. When the camera is not on, you can't see the LCD at all.

Quality product, but, will it fit??
The mirror itself is very well built and solid, it looks like a high quality OEM mirror and the mount is all metal. If it's an easy fit to your car, it's a five star product. Good video quality, mirror is clear but doesn't seem to have any kind of dimming for the headlight glare. The video display starts up quickly from power-on.My complaint is with the mount itself. The mount it comes with is probably a very easy direct mount to some cars, but not to my Honda.Boyo's website has no information on how to order an adapter, if such a thing exists. They include a windshield button to be glued to your windshield. My plan was to glue it on above the original button. I bought the special adhesive from the auto parts store, and followed the instructions to the letter...and it promptly fell off. Tried again, same story. So, don't rely on the button. In the end, I was able to jerry-rig a screw and T-nut to attach the mount to the Honda windshield button, it seems to work fine. We'll see if it comes loose. The instructions have a hookup diagram that is vague--there is a green wire from the unit that is nowhere in the diagram. I left it hanging and everything works fine. All in all, it's a good product but it would be nice if the product description indicated whether this will fit your car.

works great. only thing I don't like is the big ...
direct fit to 2000 toyota sienna van. paired with another boyo camera. works great. only thing I don't like is the big size of the control/fuse box which is not easy to find a suitable place on the ceiling roof cavity. in the end, I need to remove the map light box and pushed this fuse box in the ceiling space.

Just what I needed
Was a perfect fit for my 20014 jeep patriot, install took less then 1Hr. to install. only three wires and a video cable to connect. The mirror is clear and good view only see video screen when I shift in reverse. Well worth the money.
