Amazing gift for my son’s 7th birthday . He will be spending hours playing with it. Pretty easy to manage and loads of fun!

The Miko 2 is basically a kid friendly robotic version of Alexa but with the benefit of it being an actually physical thing that kids can see. My 7 and 6 year olds played with this for hours the first Few days and really enjoyed asking it every question they could think of. I would say it was able to answer about 75% of the questions asked. Of course kids can think of the weirdest questions so ya kno... I was on the fence about getting this for them as sometimes I find that electronic toys like this are a novelty the first few days then won’t get touched for months but so far so good with this one! I do have to say that the price is absurd. Especially when you take into account that an echo dot kids edition you can get for $50 and the lowest end of an iPad you can get for the same price as this. That being said it is extremely cute and if your child will play with something like this daily it is worth it for sure.

Don't be fooled by the videos, verbal interactions with Miko2 is minimal and super slow. Often, Miko2's response doesn't make sense or it just simply replies, "I will get the answer in a couple of days". To interact with Miko, your child will mainly need to use the 2.5" display and physical buttons. Bottom line, if your child have used any smart phones or tablets, Siri, Alexa, or GoogleMini, he/she will be very bored with Miko in a day or two. Any educational app on a tablet or smart phone (i.e., Prodigy) is light years beyond the apps you can find in Miko 2. My 7-year old son lost interest in Miko2 within an hour. Some basic apps are free, otherwise, you have to buy a subscription called "Miko Max". Only feature's that is cool is the teleconnect where you can "FaceTime" your child via Miko2 and control it remotely. This is a very dishonest company, don't trust their "Hassle-Free Returns" policy that's boldly advertised on their website. They only replace products for manufacturing defects. Update - 11/14/2021 It’s almost been a year since I initiated my return of the product. They provided an RMA number in March and I’ve sent the product back. I have yet to receive the refund!!!

So this device is actually really capable as far as speakers go. Really rich high-quality sound paired with a pretty smart robot. The voice the robot has is kind of like an older woman actually, which is a bit odd, but the information it can gather, the things it's programmed to play music wise and motions, they're all very cool. Once we opened the box, we were surprised to find out how big it was. The robot is more fun than any robot we've dealt with before and overall is a fantastic option for kids as our kid loves it.

This is an ok interactive toy. My nearly five year old loved it for about a week and has now lost interest. It is not a bad toy - quality is great, the apps are good, and it was easy for him to learn. It just does not have the staying power that I was hoping for such an expensive toy. The movement feature is a bit janky - it is supposed to detect obstacles but fell off the kitchen table. It is durable - that fall caused no issue.

A good little robot overall for the time being ...my 6 yr old daughter likes Miko but gets a little frustrated when the interactive features don’t function on demand... & even though it has wheels, it does not follow you on command... which would have been nicer if that function was there... it’s similar to Alexa but cuter for kids. We had hard time getting Miko connected cause it took some time for the download but the customer Service (David) was helpful & even followed up with us few days later to make sure Miko is working for us.

Our son is obsessed with robots, we got this for his birthday. He loved it, he plays with it about an hour every week, TV is still more interesting. It took a while to figure out everything, but it works now. It's got a lot of features lower end toy robots don't have (like video chat). The main functions work a lot like google home, and you need WiFi for it to be useful at all (otherwise it's just another noise making toy with no function). He likes it, and we'd probably get it again knowing what we know now.

Love the product and the support from David (support associate) is really great. Learnt feature that I could not find from the booklet.. My son started using it and does not let me even touch it for few minutes.. It really helped reduce his screen time and amazed to know and learn about the features it has.

I bought the Miko2 for my 6 year old nephew Arjuna Bajaj. He was delighted and also when we got the demo we were surprised of its potential use. It's a nice companion for the kids in his age group. It's a knowledgeable friend and at the same time very playful.
