Perfect HD for TiVo Edge
I purchased this 1TB HD to replace the 500G drive in a TiVo Edge that failed. This was one the few 2.5” drives with an AV rating. It fit the TiVo Edge perfectly. After replacing the drive the TiVo auto formatted the drive and setup was flawless. Tested the DVR function and everything worked. I would recommend if you’re repairing/upgrading the TiVo Edge.

Failure after 16 months.
Very disappointed. Had this in eufy home base 3. The drive failed after 16 months. A drive should last at least 36 months and this couldn’t even do that. Do not buy this it’s not worth your time. Other comments also discuss its failure. I assume the people saying it’s good are the ones that have had it for a few days. With this reliability I would have been better off buying a ssd.

Very good product
It is easy to install but remember that it is brand new, raw HD that requires initiation before you can do formatting. I am using it as a second HD for storage purposes. Data transfer is very good.

Giving my Firetv Recast a second life.
When I received the drive, it was vacuum packed and had a date of manufacture of 02 July 2018. Ran SMART diagnostics and the drive had only been power cycled 2 times. Truly an unused drive. Can’t wait to replace the failing drive in my Firetv recast.

Restored a TiVo Edge DVR Painlessly
I bought this hard drive to repair a TiVo Edge DVR that had a 2 TB hard drive that failed. For about $33 I was able to restore a TiVo Edge DVR that normally sells (with Life Time Service) for over $900. Recently TiVo has ben offering a limited time deal for a TiVo Edge with Life Time Service for around $300 so for even that price the $33 cost of this WD 1 TB hard drive is a bargain. As stated the original TiVo Seagate hard drive was 2 TB which provided 300 hours of HD recordings while this WD 1 TB hard drive will only provide about 150 hours of HD recordings - and I can live with that. Fortunately, the TiVo Edge formats the new hard drive automatically so other than the mechanical aspects of installing the new hard drive was a breeze.

Started to fail in my TIVO after 13 months
Bought to replace a failed drive in my 7 year old Tivo Bolt. Started to fail after 13 months. Recordings would show up in recorded list of programs however you could not access them. Replaced with a Toshiba MQ04ABB400R. Hopefully this replacement will last longer than 13 months.

Lieferung und Service - gehalten wie versprochen, gern wieder. Die Fpl ist nur wenige Euro teurer als andere. Aber sie soll ein "Dauerläufer" sein und mein PC (Notebook) läuft täglich ca. 9 Stunden am Stück. Da kommt es mir auf Sicherheit und zuverlässig kann. Bisher haben in den letzten 20 Jahren die Laufzeiten meiner PCs zugenommen, aber nicht die Qualität der Haltbarkeit der Fpl.

Il me fallait un disque du même type pour remplacer celui de ma box fibre internet, un 160 Go . Du coup 935 Go de disponible ! Certes plus cher qu un disque habituel en 1to, mais conçu pour diffuser ou enregistrer 4 flux simultanés HD, 16 moi de cache ( contre 8 en général....si si ça joue) et prévu pour fonctionner 24/7 sans trop de chauffe. Et cerise sur le gâteau la taille confortable permet de vraiment utiliser leurs fonction NAS de la Box
