the onion butter flavor of this is stellar esp if you don’t have a huge palate for spicy food. it’s a little sweet, but it’s also savory and the combination of flavors is so good. cook the sauce down til it’s pretty thick and coats the rice cakes well, it’s way better this way that leaving it thin and soupy. 10/10 for a quick lunch that takes little effort.

So yummy and easy to make. Definitely reccomend trying in each flavor!!

This flavor is a bit sweeter than I'd like, but it's so good! It doesn't really taste like onion to me, but it goes well with various meats and veggies. The sauce thickens perfectly and even if you add more water, it still remains flavorful. This brand gives a good portion for the price, and the tteokbokki are yummy and fragrant. The texture is chewy, but not in a gross way. It has a low heat level and one pack is big enough for a full meal.

It's delicious, easy to eat and cook, and arrived on time with no issues! Even though it's not fully in English (which is to be expected), the instructions were clear and easy to understand! I have bought this product several times and absolutely love it. The taste is creamy, not spicy, and full of rich oniony flavor!

I was really curious about tteokbokki, but also a bit hesitant since I’m the biggest baby ever about spicy food. This flavor is 100% non-spicy, and is a great introduction to the dish if you want to try tteokbokki but can’t handle the heat of the regular version. I cooked it in a small saucepan, and it was ready in about 10mins start to finish. DELICIOUS! The creamy onion sauce is perfect, if a bit on the sweet side. The rice cakes had a fun, soft-chewy texture & were very easy to eat. The only drawback is the price; you do get 2 packs, but it still works out to about $6 per serving. The portion size is fairly small, too, much to my leftover-loving self’s disappointment. Still, a great occasional treat!

I had never had tteokbokki before and was worried to try a spicy one in case it was too spicy so I bought this onion butter one. Well I'll say that it is not spicy but it is VERY sweet. Like, too sweet. The package was larger than I thought it would be, and it comes with two. I liked the idea of this and the rice cakes were nice and chewy. I will eat the second package of this, but I wouldn't re-order this particular flavour.

Onion butter! It's delicious! Wonderful flavor. Cooks evenly. Even had some dehydrated onion pieces. Very tasty!

This my favorite flavor (onion butter) of this brand of tteokbokki. I usually just get the microwaveable cups, but they were sold out. So I got these and it’s about four meals worth, since rice cakes are pretty filling. For me at least. It didn’t taste any different from the cups and smelled just as yummy.
