Elements Truffles Candy & Chocolate Bars Maple Toffee (Pack of 1)

I was very excited to receive this because I was buying one for myself and one as an Xmas gift for a family member. I love maple and dark chocolate, so this has been in my cart for months while I was waiting for a reason to buy it. I hoped that maybe because expiration dates can be unreliable that it would still be edible. It is not. Both are broken, have bloomed and taste like cardboard. I want to reorder because I genuinely want to try the chocolate and want to get some for someone else but am worried I will just receive more expired chocolate. Thoroughly disappointed.

The chocolate is very high quality and is quite lovely however there is almost no toffee to speak of. There might be three small pieces throughout the entire bar. If you are considering it for the toffee, think again. Also, not the best value. I was expecting big things but was very underwhelmed.

The item is past its sell by date, and is just generally in bad condition. It's clear that its been melted atleast 1x and it's gross because of that. The texture is wrong and it doesn't taste right. When I try to get a replacement I get a screen that says this item doesn't qualify. I wanted a tasty chocolate bar to show up at my significant others house as a nice surprise, and instead he got this disappointment. $ back please.

Not worth the money

Tape holding the outer packaging was undone, I'm not sure if they contributed to the strange taste but I couldn't eat it seemed old and oxidized.

We were all so excited to try this. Sadly, it arrived with an expiration date of a month before the order/shipping date.

This was by far the grossest chocolate I've ever tasted. Even the cheapest chocolate available in the stores would have tasted much better. Also, it gave me an upset stomach.

Would like money back.
