I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of this bucket! Initially, I never imagined I'd write a review for a bucket … but this is no simple pail. It truly stands out. I opted for the vivid red 3.5-gallon size, and I must say, it's exceeded my expectations in every aspect. First and foremost, the build quality is exceptional. Crafted from thick and sturdy rubber, this bucket feels robust and durable in hand. Unlike cheaper alternatives, it lacks sharp edges and corners, making it safer and more comfortable to handle. The attention to detail in its construction is evident, promising longevity and reliability. One feature that particularly caught my attention is the pouring spout. It's a thoughtful addition that enhances the bucket's functionality, allowing for precise pouring without spills or splashes. Whether I'm washing my cars or engaging in other tasks, this feature proves to be very handy. Speaking of car washing, that's primarily how I utilize this bucket, and it excels in this regard. Its ample capacity accommodates sufficient water for a thorough wash, while its sturdy construction ensures it holds up well to frequent outside use. Overall, I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. This bucket has truly elevated my car washing experience, and its quality and durability make it a worthwhile investment. If you're in the market for a reliable and well-built bucket, look no further—this one ticks all the boxes. Incidentally, I also recommend using a dirt trap insert which filters the dirt in the water down to the bottom. Most of these dirt traps are around 12 inches in diameter. However, the bottom diameters of standard-sized buckets like this one usually taper down closer to 9 inches or so at the bottom. After a really long search on Amazon, I found a 9.25 inch diameter dirt trap by the Pro-Elite brand. sturdy utility bucket. I use it for gardening and fertilizing. Marked off rings at 1 and 2 gallon fill levels so I could add specific amounts of fertilizers quickly. Handle secure enough to handle the weight of water. Pours easily via spout on rim.

Several key points. 3.5 gallon is large enough when 2/3 full is a little over 2 gallons. Water is about 8.3 pounds per gallon so that would be about 17 lbs. The handle is a heavy duty steel wire with a floating handgrip. The bucket can move without twisting your hand. The material is heavier plastic with a molded in pouring spout. The bottom has a rim molded in that keeps you from wearing through the bucket liner when you scoot it around on the floor or concrete. Best of all... I found (on Amazon) a Figpade 9.25" Diameter Car Wash Bucket Dirt Guard liner that fits perfectly in the bottom of this bucket. That keeps the water clean and doesn't recycle the dirt in the water. Overall just what I was looking for.

I used this for my weekly fish tank cleaning. it is heavy duty. I love everything about this bucket. Rubbermaid makes great product especially the commercial line.

You really can’t beat the quality of this bucket for all around house or yard work. I bought a backup, but I’ve had the one for years and never had a problem. Absolutely great quality. Pricey but worth every penny.

After my 30 year old Rubbermaid bucket finally got a crack on the bottom I came across this one that looks like it might have been similar in plastic strength. It far exceeds it! It’s a great bucket, even a gallon bigger than my other one. The only thing I don’t like about it is the red handle grip is not very comfortable when you’re carrying it with your bare hands. Definitely recommend! This one should last at least as long I hope!
