I would love to give these boots 5 stars but the material ...
I would love to give these boots 5 stars but the material that the heal is made of is cheap. It's actually peeling and bubbling off kind of like it's paper that's glued and wrapped around plastic, I expected higher quality from Harley Boots.Update 8\29\14: I ended up returning my original pair of these boots because I thought maybe I got a bad pair. I didn't see anyone else complaining about the heel of the boot...and I don't mean the bottom I mean the sides, it's actually a piece of sticky paper wrapped around the body of the heel to make it "look" like real wood...it just doesn't make sense for anyone actually riding a motorcycle, you need endurance. But the boot is really good looking and sooooo comfortable I didn't want to just return it for a refund so I gave it another shot. The new one's the same way, I mean it's not AS bad as the 1st pair but I've only had them a week and been riding for about 6-8 times and at the very bottom of the back of the body of the heel there's another spot getting ready to peel...I'm bummed and don't know what to do but probably will return them...I mean they're good price IF they last but not cheap by any means... Hope if you get them and you actually ride that you have better luck...

Real Boots
I am thrilled with these boots. I have a hard to fit foot, expect every bit of footwear to need breaking in. These are true to size, length wise. I wear a size 8 1/2. I have a wide foot and a high instep that these boots can accommodate right off the bat by wearing a thin sock. Plenty of wiggle room for the toes. Nice heavy leather that is molded in the heel for a secure fit. No slipping or rubbing. The heel height and forefoot platform are perfect height for regular wear. I always need a bit of heel. The tightness across the instep eased up with two wearings. I am not sure how slip proof the soles are, but I prefer these shallow grooved soles to the heavy lugs that hang on to every bit of mud and gunk they step in.Now for the bad news: They have no arch support. I was able to remove the glued in lightly padded footbeds and replace with some that have arch support. I was disappointed that these boots are lined with a fabric rather than leather. We will see how that holds up. A bit hard to pull on at first due to the fitted nature, but once on they fit like they were made for me, so that is only an annoyance that should improve with break in. They are easier to pull on every time I wear them. They are not waterproof, but give some measure of water resistance. Additional treatment will help with that. All in all I love these boots. They are cute, comfortable, and with time they will be treasured.

Good passenger boot, but not great for the road
The Christa boot is a good looking and comfortable boot. I typically wear size 8 in street shoes, however, I have owned three pairs of HD boots, and they have all been size 8.5 (in order to ensure enough toe room). I have found HD's sizes run consistently in all models I have tried on, so I will always order a half size larger with confidence that they will fit. The Christa model's leather is very soft; not the typical heavy duty grade leather I am used to with HD boots. Seems like they will scuff very easily. So, if you are looking for a comfortable passenger/fashion boot, this could fit the bill. If you are a rider and are looking for a sturdy boot that will wear well and long (appearance- and functionality-wise) I would not recommend it. I do not believe the tread is conducive to the safest riding. The tread on the Christa boot may do okay in optimal riding weather conditions, but if you get stuck in a rain shower and need traction in slick road conditions, it may not be sufficient. I suggest riders do a search on both the Christa boot and the Ashby boot (Ashby is now discontinued, but still available in black in some HD stores and on ebay) and look at pictures of the bottoms/treads and note the differences I am speaking of. Also, in my research of the other two new HD harness models, Dulcie and Darice, I noted they have better, but still pretty cheesy treads. While I very much like the look and feel of the Christa boot, I am sending this boot back and tracking down a pair of Ashby boots. I currently own Ashby in brown, and it is the best boot I have ever worn, both for comfort and for functionality.I am pretty disappointed that Harley Davidson (Wolverine Boots) discontinued a model like Ashby without ensuring a suitable replacement. Christa could have been that boot from an appearance standpoint, but that's where it ends. Hopefully HD will do a little better in the next boot line up in the October timeframe when they introduce the 2014 models.

Super comfortable and cute!
I tried these on in a store over a year ago and waited until I found them on sale on Amazon to purchase. For ~$60 these were a great deal. They are really comfortable and will work for someone with wide feet. I have bigger calves so I sometimes have trouble with taller boots not fitting properly, but these hit me just below my calf so they are flattering and still taller than ankle boots. I don't usually wear any type of heel, but there is pretty good ankle stability and support so I haven't found these to be uncomfortable. I generally wear a size 8.5, sometimes 1/2 a size up or down depending on the style-- I got these in an 8.5 and they fit really well! I didn't buy these to ride in, but the leather is somewhat thin. They feel durable and well made as far as a nice pair of fashion boots goes, but I'm sure the road would chew these up pretty well if you were to ride in them and have an unfortunate accident. They are lightly lined which does add some warmth. I love these, but probably wouldn't have gotten them at full price. Hoping they last a long time!

Comfortable Boots
Although I usually wear a size 8.5, I purchased the size nines because some reviews said they fit small. This wasn't so. The nines had way too much room for me. I purchased my usual size, 8.5, and they fit just as they should. They look just like the picture and feel great on. The top of the boot has a lot of room to tuck in pants. I would say they are a relaxed fit.

They look nice, but
Already scuffed after one wear. I don't think these books will last long. They look nice, but uncomfortable
