Barlean's Evening Primrose Oil Capsules, GLA Supplement for Men and Women, Healthy Skin, Immune Support and Bone Strength 1300mg Softgels, 120 Count

Update-just ordered my second bottle, and I'm pretty certain I'll be using primrose steadily from now on. It really made a difference by toning down my cramps, and if I can take a natural supplement instead of a pain pill I'm all for it. Some people say this is good for weight loss or skin conditions...I did not notice any of that after a full 120 capsule bottle. If some miracle happens after the second one I'll keep you posted. Great quality, no aftertaste, fresh supply from the seller..overall the quality was very, very good. That being said, the pills are HUGE and I had some pretty nasty gas for a few weeks which I can only attribute to an "adjustment period" for oil supplements. But, I don't reek anymore, my skin hasn't changed much, but my cramps and menstrual symptoms seem to have calmed down quite a bit for me during the second month of pills (I cramp pretty significantly and need to be on a constant stream of Advil for days-not this past month though-so YAY!) . I'll probably give this a good 90-120 days before I make a definitive call on that though-could just be a fluke.

Barlean's carries high quality product and I have seen tremendous results using this on an every day pattern or for just "pms symptoms" as well. Especially since I have a 30 year battle with Endometriosis, 11-12 surgeries and only one ovary. My hormones get really out of whack and this helps that feeling of the hairs standing on the back of your neck feeling, where you could scratch someone's eyeballs out when they get on your last nerve. :-) Just being honest. Pms ain't no joke and neither are the symptoms associated with Endo, for those of you ladies that have had the kind of experiences I have, for a non-invasive, non-pharmaceutical, non-western approach to your symptoms, I would highly recommend these. If I didn't truly believe that they helped, I'm. Not the type to just write a review and I most certainly don't even bother taking that time even when I'm pleased unless it's extraordinary results. For me it's gotta have a little bit extra than the expected normal high quality and price point to give some feedback and this truly and sincerely helps with all of the above. I think it took a couple of months and I didn't take it as directed so I'm not going to say I followed the instructions because I took more knowing my body and what I have been through during my horrendous and horrific journey of being the guinea pig to many physicians and their closest opinion to what they have studied. I can tell you if someone had the feeling that I had everyday that was in the medical field there would be way more research and swaying of the pendulum of what is accepted for treatment and pain. The ONLY problem I have with Baarlean's Evening Primrose Oil softgels is that the ingredient list is invariably covered by the 1-1/2" x 3" bar code sticker. There is NO sticker covering the advertisement, but I never read those anyway. I do, however, often...well, always...refer to the ingredients and the volume of those ingredients on my supplements. The covering of the lawful disclosure of the ingredients is very important, and shouldn't be covered up! Other than that issue, like I said, I subscribe to these, and they are great!
