Capezio Hanami Pirouette Athletic Shoe

This shoe is holding up well after months of use. My daughter is pleased with the fit and grip or slip ability, so I am happy with the value. I ordered size as recommended, true to shoe.

Very good quality! I might have needed a size up but overall, worked nicely for my dance concerts!

My dancer likes this style even more than the Pirouette ii. These shoes are softer and a little thinner but still durable (as far as half soles go). Sizing with half shoes makes zero sense and these are no exception- my daughter wears a women’s 6 1/2 in street shoes and a large in these.

I was upset to find out the site that I used to purchase my daughters tights and dance shoes (discount dance) is transitioning to a new stewardship and currently isn't taking orders. I am very greatful that I was to find this brand here on Amazon. This brand is specified by my daughters Dance Company. I bought the Nude and Light Suntan colors because it was harder to tell which would match her tights better. The Light Suntan are perfect so I will save those for competitions and my daughter will use the lighter Nude colors for practice. I am greatful that I read reviews on sizing up. My daughter is 9, and her street shoe size is 2-3. So I ordered small and they fit her perfectly. These were also brand new out of the package, not used like other reviews have mentioned. I was kinda worried after I saw those reviews. I think these will last her quite a while because her other dance shoes did as well. Just make sure your kids wear crocs or slippers and not just barefoot/dance shoes even just walking in from the car to the building because concrete does wear the fabric down quicker. I will definitely purchase again in the future. Shipping was really fast as well. 10 stars all the way.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Bought for my daughter as these are more comfortable than other comparable brands. Size up though, she wears a women’s size 10 and XXL fits perfectly!

The fit of these turners run smaller would recommend getting a bigger size. Quite durable held up for 6 months. The band around the front part I found it to dig into my foot so getting a bigger size is recommended. Overall not a bad turner for the price point.

Pros: - Shoe feels high quality - Works well for turns and dancing in general - Elastic moves well with skin when you point or flex your foot (doesn't feel caught on skin or feel like you need to adjust it) Cons: - Oddly small? I got an X-Large (the largest size), but it still fits a bit small on me compared to other brands I've tried. I'm a woman's size 11 or men's size 12.5, for reference. It's not uncomfortable enough to where I'm going to go through the hassle to return it, but if it were just slightly larger, then it would be absolutely perfect. If you're shoe size is any larger than mine, I would not recommend this shoe.

The main reason for this purchase was that it was cheaper then in studio. It works just like the ones in the studio. True to size and has been very durable, we just lost a few. The nude color matches the studio as well!

It was suggested to my daughter to get turners for her lyrical & contemporary solos. So we researched them & found that dancers recommend these Capezio ones. We bought 2 pairs (1 for dance competitions & 1 for everyday use) 3yrs ago & she loved them!!!! She said they were extremely comfortable & felt like they moulded to her foot right away. Now they are the only ones she will wear & recommends them to her friends!!!

Product exactly as described and excellent quality. Suitable for the requirements of competition. Size adult M fits a perfect UK size 5 in a shoe. Fast delivery which was a bonus.

The sizing on the shoe does not match the one on line. They are also sized a lot smaller.
