I built a cheap cold air intake around it, love it
it's overkill on a 1.6L NA mini cooper, but along with my muffler delete and what unnoticeable difference NGK coils and plugs make, it does even out the middle power band a lot. I built a full CAI out of sheet aluminum and 4" dryer duct (I'm surprised I got the custom airbox to fit in the stock airbox location AND had a good channel for the ducting). I won't see much extra power even if I tune it, but it does growl, gurgle and pop now, satisfying and absurd. It's a small engine, so it's still not crazy loud, so I can still drive it legally, but it is definitely louder. I was going to build a 2 piece scoop duct system around it, like AEM makes, even traded for an S hood with the scoop, but for now there's no point in doing that much extra work and adding more points of failure for zero gain unless I just do it for fun anyway.

Works great looks great under the hood of my Hennessey!
Works great on my 2011 Hennessey Raptor F-150. Better than the K&N they run. Cheaper as well. I'm not into wash and reuse as the filter fibbers can break down. So, the price of this it gets changed out often. I've bought several now. Worth the cheap insurance as my truck is near 293k miles.

Solid Cone Filter
The fitting adaptors aren’t long enough to keep clamps in place on the intake hose. Some electrical tape later, it makes a great sound and is slowly improving my MPG in my 2005 Durango Hemi.

Nice
This is unmatched quality. I have always used spectre for my filters. They sell really great filters for the price. Oh, and the size of this is a plus. Looks bada** under the hood. It has an open end on it so it can draw in air from the top.

K&N Clone!
What a great filter! I compared both in store, and it is in all practical purposes K&N's 'clone'. It is rigid, fitment is perfect, half the price, and performs perfectly. I believe it has a 50K warranty, and the last Spectre I purchased lasted could have lasted well beyond that although I chose anyway to replace it. I have not had good luck 're-oiling/cleaning' K&N's before, as they did damage to the MAF (mass airflow sensor). Much easier to replace at 50K, and cost effective than cleaning, so why bother? I would definitely recommend any Specter filters, anytime, anyday.

Use this on my Volvo V70R. K&N worked well but they were a little expensive and sometimes a little too oily out of the box. I never oil the filters I just use them until they're dirty and replace at this price. These don't have too much oil and clamp down easily. The included adapters make it adaptable to most pipe sizes. *If you have a pipe that doesn't fit snugly into the filter gasket, it might be pulled away from the filter causing some leaks...make sure you don't have to tighten it down super hard or you'll have this problem. *If you clamp directly to the MAF sensor, you might have the gasket separation issue also - to fix it I used gasket sealer - pretty sure this would happen with a K&N also

A little thin but good quality for the price. I'll run it 6.7 Ram

Used this in my 2003 Ford F150, 4.6L. Relatively easy installation and it looks kind of neat. It seems to work well, and I recommend it. Thanks.
