Not loud enough
Nice looking bell but it failed in its intended purchase objective which was for my wife to call me in from our long garden at lunchtimes etc. She is always complaining that I do not hear the bell. I am going a bit deaf that's why we got it but it has failed.

It’s a solid lovely quality metal that looks vintage, sounds good.

My friends use it as a signaling device between the cottage and the wharf which is far away. It hasn't got a patina yet but I'm sure it will after a few winters.

We live in very rural California and our property abuts more than 5000 acres of US Forest Service land. Our dog loves exploring his backyard. We’ve trained our dog to come home to the sound of this bell. It’s loud for its size and has a great deep rich tone.

We use it at the pool !! Ring the bell for lunch or drinks!! Lots of fun great quality !
