I live far from the coast,inland.I fly kites that need high winds.They are 26 feet long. large octopus kites.I see them fly at the coast all the time.The valley I live in does not get enough wind to get them in the sky.So when I do get one up there in the sky.I use about 2 to 3 thousand foot lines to get them up there to fly.And when they are up there I will throw this wonderful kite ribbons to add to them.I have people drive for miles to find out who is flying them.The ribbon adds that special look to them.
