Good value, works well!
I only used it once, but it was easy to use and the pasta came out great, although my technique needs some practice. I bought this type because I wanted the 3 in 1 type of cutter. The brand name of my mixer doesn’t offer this you have to get 3 different attachments to do what this one does.

Tips, and my go-to recipe for perfect pasta
I’ve been making fresh pasta for years and already owned the KitchenAid brand set with 3 separate attachments (roller, spaghetti, fettuccine). This attachment combines all three into one, and that alone is a big win for me. It takes up much less storage space, and I don’t have to swap attachments while making noodles - which makes the whole process faster and less fiddly. Function-wise, it works really well. The dough rolls smoothly and the spaghetti and fettuccine cutters are clean and precise. The noodles come out evenly cut and look great every time. A few important things to note, especially if you’re coming from the brand-name set. The thickness numbering is reversed. With the KitchenAid attachment, you start at “1” and work your way up. With this one, you start at “8” and work your way down. Not a deal breaker, but it does take a minute to retrain your brain. The adjustment knob also feels flimsier than the brand version and the numbers are hard to see. It still works fine, but this is one area where a small design improvement would make a big difference. Please read the cleaning instructions otherwise you can ruin your attachment: you’re not supposed to wash this attachment with water and should only use a dry brush. My tried-and-true egg noodle recipe (always a hit in our house): Dry ingredients: - 300 g “00” flour (do not use all purpose) - 2 tsp salt Wet ingredients: - 2 large eggs - 3 large egg yolks - Add enough water to bring the total weight of wet ingredients to 185 g Method: 1. Pulse flour and salt in a food processor for about 10 seconds. 2. Add wet ingredients and process until dough forms. 3. Knead by hand for about 12 minutes. Do not skip this step. The KitchenAid hook attachment won’t give you the plasticity you want. 4. Lightly flour, wrap, and rest at room temperature for 30 minutes up to 5 hours. 5. Cut into 4 pieces, shape each piece as a flat rectangle, and roll using the pasta attachment. Starts with “8” and go down to “2”, rolling twice on each setting. The instructions recommend to stop at “3” for fettuccine, but I finish with one roll on “2”. This dough works beautifully with this attachment, and we always end up going back for seconds.

Love, love, love
Where has this been all my life? I have wanted a pasta attachment for a long time but just couldn't bring myself to pay the super high price tag for the name brand and was afraid one like this would be a cheap inferior knock off. It is anything but that! I was lucky enough to find a sale near the holidays, so I thought - well it's worth a try. It has full instructions and is a breeze to use. I think it has to be better than the brand name which is three different pieces. This is all one piece so you don't have to switch it out to cut the pasta sheets. It comes with a metal plate that hooks onto the device that helps with guiding the pasta sheets through the machine. Believe me, that's handy when that pasta sheet starts getting long! It also comes with a cleaning tool that has a brush on one end and a small spatula on the other. There are 8 different thicknesses. It worked perfectly. I'm attaching a picture of fettuccine I just made with it. Recipe by the way is 2 eggs, 2 cups flour, and 1/2 teaspoon salt and a little cold water in case it's too dry. Put that in the mixer bowl with the hook attachment letting the machine do the kneading for about 5 minutes. Wrap it and let it sit for 30 minutes, then its ready to go into the machine. I watched a couple of videos online to learn how to make it. There are lots of them out there so you don't have to be intimidated to make your own pasta! So easy and so much better than store bought pasta! I'm excited about trying more recipes that can be healthier versions like using spinach. I love this thing and am so sad that I wasted so many years not buying one! It is just as good, if not better than the name brand for way, way less money.

Attachments Work and Fit Well
This fits our KitchenAid mixer well and we have used two of the three attachments and they work fine.

Overall good buy!
Bought for son for birthday. Worked well with kitchenaid. Cleans easily, dough rolled out well, put together in seconds, overall good value. Didn’t give 5 stars due to the feed plate was dented, but still functional.

Fun to use.
I was impressed with how well this unit worked. It does take a bit to get the hang of it. So far, I have only made noodles with it but they were so good. I want to try spaghetti but need to have the room to dry it out for use in my insta pot recipe as that calls for dry pasta. I want to try making some pie crust and running that through for cinnamon sticks.

It works but has issues
This pasta maker works well but has issues. There was a squeak that sounds like a dry bearing and it just doesn’t have that quality feel.
