I've installed a few sets of CV axles from Detroit Axle and have had good luck with all of them. Delivery time is great, there are no messy cores to deal with and I haven't had any issues with any of the axles I have installed so far. I would not and will not hesitate to order chassis parts from Detroit Axle again. The only items I've ever ordered from Detroit Axle that I don't like the quality of are their so called "low dust" ceramic brake pads. Don't bother with their rotor and pad kits. Just get the rotors and buy ceramic brake pads from the parts store. I've gotten two different 4 wheel rotors and ceramic pads kits from Detroit Axle and all of the ceramic brake pads put out substantially more dust than the cheapest metallic brake pads from any of my local parts stores.

2010 chevy fit pefectly! I have purchased Lots of Detroit products. Only issue I ever had was FRONT sway link bushings WHICH they offered to replace for FREE. HERE is a break down! Front hubs, front and rear struts, front lower control arms, ordered rear hubs and both front and rear calipers!!! So please make sure you know what you're ordering and the product WILL BE GREAT!!!

Purchased to replace rusty, crusty originals with destroyed u-joints in a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. Buyer be aware: these axles are the redesigned version of the axle this vehicle was originally shipped with. Because of this they are larger, significantly so, and barely fit inside the steering knuckle. They REQUIRE a redesigned mounting bolt be used with the hub. If you do not use the redesigned bolt the head of the bolt WILL GRIND against the outer housing of the u-joint and cut grooves into it. Detroit Axle seemed unaware of this, and when I called to inform them of this information I was brushed off as if this wasn't critical info to have. If you are buying these, you will need the mounting bolts from your local jeep dealership, be prepared to shell out some cash because they weren't cheap. Deducted a star because of the fiasco with the bolts.

So first off....i noticed every picture displayed about the product includes an axle nut. Although the description does not state whether they are included or not. Second, I figured these would be have a better finish based off the advertised pics. I've delt with these same cv axles multiple times now with different brands...same vehicle. This is by far the worst finish I've seen. Reference the video i included. Like is this metal already pitting? Or did they not sand blast this correctly...or was the paint not done correctly? I'm not an expert in all those fields but this definitely does not look professional at all....I'm honestly considering sending these back after i just opened the box... They could work just fine for a while but idk. It's also a bit disappointing when an axle nut is advertised but not mentioned and not included. Just another thing i have to go get before i can get this job done. *update* so upon further inspection. I even noticed rust where the boot clamps to the metal. Which definitely tells me they never sanded these at all. Plus a gouge in part of the metal. Never would i have bought these for the price of new ones had i known how bad these were. Such a rip off. I will be sending these back. This seller should include a detailed description of parts before listing them as well. That way the buyer is fully aware of what they are actually purchasing. This was so misleading in this case. Never will i buy Detroit axle products again after an experience like this.

Detroit Axle has always done me right. I have purchased a lot of parts from them and they are good quality products. They are very reasonably priced and the company itself is outstanding. I order all of my parts from here if they have them.

Got these axles for a good price and they fit perfectly and were easy enough to install quality looks great and my van drives a lot better
