BMC Marx Plastic Army Men US Soldiers - Black 31pc WW2 Figures - Made in USA

My son wanted these blue army nine for the longest time even though he has 1000 others I finally broke down and got them for him and I must say they were well worth it but now all he wants to play with his blue army men. The quality from this brand never disappoints. The boat is really cool too with small details molded into the plastic. My only complaint is there was a large number of a seated figure with one hand out and paratroopers that look like they should have parachutes, but none included. (please excuse the sand in the photos they did not come like that.)

Great recasts of Marx Toys soldiers, but the highlight in this set is the included paratroopers and oarsmen with boat, originally only included in more deluxe and rarer Marx Battleground playsets! Great option for collectors, good toys in general! Also a neat inclusion of DIY parachute instructions!

Before Disney made “Green Army Men” stars of the screens the best maker of Army Men was a super big toy company by the name of Marx. In the late fifties Marx started making playset a of Toy Soldiers based on World War 2. When I was s child in the early sixties - Marx soldiers was my favorite of all the companies that made toy soldiers in that era. Unfortunately, Marx no longer exists. BMC has brought back these classic WW2 Army Men at a great price point. The reason these Army Men were my favorites as a child and all my friends is the quality of these soldiers. These soldiers have the best action poses and are the best “sculpts” ,the details and poses of the figures, at this price point. I and myself spent hours playing with these toy soldiers. If your child likes Army Men this is the best product. The newly cast Marx Army Men are a much higher quality and are superior to any other army at this price point availed today. These Army men are made in the USA with the original molds that were created by Marx back in the late 50s. I highly recommend these WW2 Army men - they are great toys for children or great pieces to by for nostalgic reasons. They are simply the best - review the detailed Army Men and see for yourself.

My son likes it but noticed that none of them are carrying guns….weird for when you’re playin on army/setting up a battlefield. He still plays with them though. I got another brand also and it did have them.

Cool and quality but 8 guys were sitting and 6 were paratroopers and even with the boat the sitting guys were kinda useless

Bought a bag of soldier for my 66th birthday. In all my years I still haven't gotten over my delight at getting/receiving soldiers for Christmas or a birthday. These soldiers are just like you had when receiving your Marx playsets. I understand they are made from the original molds so that part was easy. But the material was spot on as well. I am now looking forward to ordering additional sets that were used to make up the old Battle Ground playsets. I have to amass my last huge army to do battle before I meet my own demise. If you collected Marx soldiers and playsets back in the day you won't be disappointed with these. And the price is right too!

… I also got him a wooden rubber band gun to shoot them down… not just play pretend with 😂
