Fermax is the best and only nutrient source needed for a sugar wash. This is the real Fermax, containing dead yeast, but there are some companies that substitute a bag of diammonium phosphate. Be sure that you're getting the real thing.

This is the chemical I use the most besides yeast of course. Fermax is the best and most consistent in performance of all the nutrients I’ve tried so far. Once I tried Fermax brand I knew immediately that it was a superior product and have been using it every since.

I am very happy with the results I get from this product. I will buy it again, without hesitation. Great value for the money.

Received the order on August 18, 2024. Product has a shelf life of 2 years. Package lists the product expiration date as December 2024, the end of which would be 4 1/2 months after receipt of the product. I expect that it will still be usable after that date, but 2 lbs will last me a long time. I'll probably refrigerate or freeze one of the pounds.

As the weight of both 500g packs was around 475g I don't assume this was an accidental discrepancy, just intentional underfilling.
