Hot Shot's Secret Diesel Extreme, 16 oz, Fuel System Cleaner

Just purchased a diesel and wanted to keep it running well. This stuff works amazing, and can feel the difference. I would store it in the bed. Bottle leaks some and smells strong. Would not recommended storing in cab. Size of bottle is good for 1-2 fuel ups.

This pairs very well with my 2018 International 4300 Durastar box truck. It has hit the 600,000 mile club and keeps going strong. I have started noticing my fuel tank guage no longer reads correctly and almost took a stab at replacing the fuel assembly unit for a few hundred. I went ahead and got some of this HotShot Secret and poured a 1/4th or 1 Qt for my 70 gallon tank. Beleive it or not, my fuel guage had restored its range after one tank. This pattern remained for about 12,000 miles until it started happening again. Used another 1/4th and got another 15,000 miles. The pattern is slowly going away so this shows that the tank is in fact getting cleaned out which was ongoing with affecting my sensor. MPG has not seen a rise. If anything it has seen a dip from 9.1 down to 8.9. But if it means burning clean with injectors and such, this is not a loss. Effective and great savings for the gallon. Looks good and easy carry size. No stickiness to worry about.

I’ve been using 4 type of diesel addictive for over a year. Diesel extreme every 4k or 5k miles. Everyday diesel treatment on each fuel charge. Winter defense on winter season. Winter diesel anti-gel when temperatures get below 10F. I have a more power, less black smoke and just look how my exhaust valve are. It’s a Detroit 60 series that works every day with 390k miles after overhaul. My truck is part our my family, feed my family and it deserves the best to keep running and running. I love this product

Works exactly like advertised! Boosted my trucks power and MPG while simultaneously decreasing regens. I use every 6K-8K miles to keep injectors clean and would advise anyone who wants to keep their diesel truck running smooth for the long run to do the same! You will not find a better product at this price point!

Must do something. First treatment and I had to replace 2 seals on my VW ALH injection pump. Shrunk them I'd guess because there was no tear or break. Someone said using a tank of bio diesel will swell 'em back up. Saw a YouTube video at least. Saw it on the internet so it must be true... But I'm not able to get any biodiesel. So, special tools later, gasket kit later, half hour of labor later and $45-$50 later...plus I have to check the pump timing now and I don't have the obd gadgets or software to do it.... I'm not using any more of this stuff. The vehicular in question does have a clear sight tube in the fuel line to check for air bubbles and flow. Yes, it did appear to look a little more clear after just 1 treatment. Molasses dark to dark honey. But it was noticeable. A lot of people swear all up and down additives are snake oil. My retort is always.... Explain how a winter mix is concocted. Additives. This stuff seemed to work but dang....

Was recommended by a local diesel repair business. This stuff works as advertised. I use it in my entire farm fleet.

Does it do everything it says ?? I don’t know. Shipping was fast , product received in good condition and we use it every few tanks , cheap insurance for the price of trucks nowadays.

We have found our RAM ecoDiesel to be a little particular about the diesel we put through it. We had no trouble at all with the two diesel stations we usually use, but after a tank from a supplier we don't usually use but had to in a pinch, we noticed changes in the horsepower and the particulates in our exhaust. It took a few tanks from our regular diesel provider, and the use of this clean and boost, to get our engine back to normal. It's running normally again, and we are not having issues with heavier than normal particulates in the exhaust. We are much more particulat about the quality of diesel we put in it now, but still use the clean and boost every so often just to be "clean" things up a bit. If you have issues with the quality of your diesel, this product from Hot Shots' really helped us out a lot.

I usually don't believe in this stuff much, find it's mostly a waste of money. Had an old diesel sit for 9 years, ran rough as heck obviously on its old stale diesel fuel. Tossed half a bottle of this in, and filled the last half of the tank with fresh diesel and it runs better than when I parked it. Definitely buying a few more of this stuff.
