MUD PIE STONEWARE BUTTER DISH

It is cute, but cheaply made. The knife that came with it you could see the glue around the wood that was on it. Then the wood fell off after one use. I had to throw the knife away. I do love the style and how it looks.

Although just barely, it does fit a stick of butter. I’m so in love with how adorable this butter dish is on my counter!

This matches my other stoneware perfectly and I like the quirkiness of a ROUND butter dish. I added tiny pads to the bottom so that it did not scratch the counters/tables. I would have given 5 stars but the spreader that came with it wasn't the best quality. The wood handle is glued and was separating from the metal on one side.

I got the sponge holder and the butter dish. The entire line is so cute. Like other reviews, it can really only fit half a stick of butter, but that is no issue for me since we don't go through a stick of butter very quickly in my house. 100% recommend. I also had no issues with shipping, both came wrapped securely in boxes.

I used to be a potter back in college. I wanted to buy a butter plate with dome lid that held a stick of butter which kept the butter from being seen. This does the job of concealing the butter, but it's simply not big enough to hold an entire stick without creating a mess. I continue to use it, but in a perfect world, this dish would be at least 1/4 inch bigger in circumference. I hope this helps you before you buy.

i had been looking for a new butter dish. the one i had was do awkward and the cover was very heavy. after deciding against the kettle style, i found this one. even though round and small, i cut the butter in half and both fit in. for everyday use, this is perfect and looks good sitting out. i'm very happy with it.

Very cute dish. Smaller than I anticipated and the wood on the handle came off after 2 uses. But fits my decor.

This was a cute butter dish but it arrived broken so I had to return it. Requested refund instead of replacement because I didn’t want to get another damaged during shipping.

It’s perfectly sized for just the two of us, great quality. Didn’t care much for the attached butter knife, but nobody forces us to use it and someone may find it handy. Overall, very satisfied with functionality, appearance, quality and delivery.

Very disappointed, the item is beautiful….but it arrived completely broken. It was not well wrapped or packaged at all for a delicate item. Beware if ordering anything ceramic or delicate.

It looks great on my dining table. A perfect size for leaving out.
