It works without any issues!
I bought this for my new Kenwood double-din after replacing 2 faulty double-din pioneers, and the remote works fine without any problems. I just wish the main buttons that we use the most wasn’t so spreaded across this large remote. The layout will get some getting used to.

It works for volume control
Use it mainly for my dmx8709s for volume control. Not the best feeling remote, and sometimes it fails to register my inputs.
