Only con I see it the tilt knob could be more heavy duty.

I enjoyed how simple the install was and also how well it works. It feels well made and reduces the popping noises from certain pronounced words.

We bought this as a less-expensive alternative to the genuine A-T shock kit, for a AT2020USB-XT mic. The mount fits snug around the mic, but the mic can only be inserted about 12mm (1/2”) into the mount before it interferes with the XP controls and LEDs. Other AT2020 mics apparently do not have these controls. If you have the standard AT2020 this will probably work, but check that tall, solid mounting ring to make sure you can insert the mic far enough for it not to risk falling out. We are returning this one and buying the A-T shock mount with the open front, that is specifically designed for the XP version.

i mean it fits and works so functionally it's ok but the quality is cheap. i see the plastic splitting and the locking knob stripping or breaking at some point.

The shock mount itself is perfect. Fits standard mic stand & comes with smaller adapter, and holds my AT2020 perfectly. The sock filter is a little misleading in the pic lol

This is a great product. My son wants to use it for podcasting. The sound clarity is great.

I bought this as a replacement for my old shock mount because the elastic cables were starting to sag, and figured I'd give the pop filter it came with a shot. I wish I hadn't. First off, I wasn't aware it was made from plastic and not metal like my last one. If I'd known, I'd be fine with it, but I was disappointed off the bat. The pop filter is okay, but nothing special. The thing that made me upset was within the month, I went to adjust my mic's position and one of the elastic cables snapped. I wasn't brute forcing it, I wasn't mishandling it, but it just went *pop*. Maybe I just got a dud, and if I did, fine. Whatever. I'll eat the cost on it since it's only, like, $15 bucks, but I'm really disappointed.
