Fun Inflatable Original T-Rex Dinosaur Costume For Kids

This costume is Fantastic! Purchased for a 3 year old boy who is about 3 feet 9inches tall, and 50 pounds - this costume fit him perfectly, and he will have lots of room to grow length wise I can see this fitting him until 5 for sure maybe 6. I would say he has about 5 more inches in height and 3 more inches in arm length for costume to fit at its best. The costume itself says for ages 5-7 which is the standard child's size I would say if your child is 9 or older get the Adult size forsure. As for the "sound" I don't know what I was hoping for ... but I was thinking it was motion activated like when it can sense motion it would roar and what not, but you actually have to push a button to activate it, and it's a tiny square sound box that has a compartment that fits right into the glove area, I paid an extra $10 just for that feature so was hoping for a little more wow factor but it's fine. He enjoys pushing the button and making his own mouth dino sounds. Overall if I could rebuy it I would prefer this sound option over no sound option because it's fun for my 3 year old to push the button and do the dino noises. But as an adult I would just use my phone to be hands free, this would be too hard for a toddler to think of to do. The most confusing part about putting the costume on was figuring out how the head fits through the hole, so there's 2 openings, the first opening is super stretchy and tight, that part actually goes over the head completely and hugs the neck, my toddler was a little freaked because he was feeling like he couldn't breathe or see, until we figured that out, the part where you see the actual face is just a draw string opening, I would recommend tying a knot once getting it adjusted right on the face or else it will loosen with movement. The neck part was also very hard kind of to get over my toddlers head, if your kid has a really big head I would recommend trying to stretch the neck part out over a basketball or something, and if your child's head is larger then a basketball it's more then likely not going to fit with out cutting the costume and you risk deflation, so just get the adult size. My final thoughts is that the costume is amazingly adorable, funny and quarky! You will not regret this buy if it fits perfectly for your dino lover hoped this review helped! ❤️

We bought 2 of these in the Adult size and one in the child size. Wore them in a parade and everyone loved them! Our Dinosaurs gave the kids a lot of "high fives" and they produced tons of smiles! We wore the costumes in May in the parade. The temperature at the beginning of the parade was around 74 degrees F and was well into the mid 80's by the time we finished the parade. The costumes are hot. We had several kids taking turns in the customes. Because of the heat and the fact that you cannot walk very fast in the costumes we did not make it to the end of the parade. We also wore the costumes for a visit to the grade school in our town. The kids loved it! We plan to wear the costumes again at our Pumpkin Farm in the Fall! We loved the costumes! They are well made and Super Fun! Plus, I think 2 of my kids will be wearing them this fall for Halloween if they are still intact by then! No rips or tears so far! My 7 year old son was able to fit into the child sized costume. However, he is tall and very skinny. Weighs about 56 pounds. If he gets much taller, he may not fit in it by fall.

I bought this for my 5 year old son to wear for Halloween this year, and I fully expected the tail to be ripped to shreds after being dragged for trick or treating, and the whole costume to deflate....... but it did NOT!! This costume is so well made that it made it through a walk at our local zoo for a trick or treat event, a family Halloween party, and trick or treating around our neighborhood and our friends neighborhoods. The bottom of the tail got a little dirty, but I just took a damp cloth to it and it cleaned right up.... now he has it to wear as a play costume when he likes..... definitely worth the price and then some!

The plastic fan battery pack had an issue with it's circuit, so we could not safely get it to run. No fan meant no inflation and that meant no costum. Additionally sizing seemed a bit small - short in the legs and arms. We were sad to miss out on the inflatable T-Rex hijinx!

The costume itself gets 5 stars, but deducting 1 for fit issues. We bought this in the children's size for my 4 year old and once we made some changes got it fit and working, it's absolutely amazing and hysterical. A warning though, the neck hole for the peek though is EXTREMELY small. Product is listed as fitting children size 7. My 4 year old is tall for his age, but nowhere near the size of a 7 year old. Despite our best efforts (and a lot of screaming from my kid that we were ripping his ears off) we could not get the hood on him. I finally took a pair of scissors to the seam in the front and we were able to get it over his head without compromising the air tight seal that keeps the costume inflated because there is a toggle pull in the front. Once on, we had another issue with the elastic around the face being so tight that it completely obscured his vision. A funny visual to see my over-inflated Dino-child ricocheting off walls, crashing into furniture and bulldozing over my dogs. Another snip with scissors allowed him to see, but air seal suffered and the costume started to deflate. I gathered the hood and secured it under his chin with a safety pin and it looks like the problem is fixed. We may use some fashion tape around his face on Halloween to make sure it stays inflated. All in all, the costume is great, but definitely incorrect for sizing and a little bit of effort to trouble shoot. If you have the patience to fix it, you won't be disappointed. But I would not recommend buying this costume for any child over the age of 4-5.

I was nervous it would be too big on him and it wouldn’t be able to hold the air- but it’s fits well. It’s obviously made for taller kids but the elastic on the legs, arms and neck are snug enough to keep the costume inflated for a 5 year old. The little fan works well. Not sure how long the batteries will last but it’s back in the closet waiting until Halloween to get some use. Seems well made. I would recommend for 5 year olds for sure and definitely kids a bit older.

My son (just over 4 ft) wore this for a school dance and a costume party. He loves it...inflates well and stays inflated and unless the zipper gets pulled down (only happen d when other kids tried to open it up). Tip- unthread the battery pack and attach to whatever clothing your child wears beneath the suit....if left in hood, the pack pulls the head forward, covering the child’s face Likely would fit for another few inches but the legs are not the longest. Only real problem was that the costume was a little too awesome and people kept stopping him every few feet. Looks like he waddles from the back when he walks which is super cute.

My son loved this for his Halloween costume. Shipped quickly and arrived on time. Was just a 1 inch spot where the stitching missed but fixed it in 5 minutes. Thank you.

Great costume, little boy used it for Halloween and loved it (and so did everyone we met going round). Easy to put on and inflated well. Not sure what the suggested age is but my son is a slim age 9 and found the elastic around arms a bit tight but guess it needed to be for air not to escape, so wouldn’t suggest if your child doesn’t like tight things around wrists. Overall very pleased with item and great delivery as came next day.
