Great product, but there is NO "leg pouch opening"!!!!
I LOVE these swaddlers and have used them in a size Small for two babies now. I consider them a must-have baby item.So why the 3-star review? Because of the totally misleading description on this. I had never purchased a size Large before, but my 3.5 month old is outgrowing the S/M size and still enjoys being swaddled. So when I saw that this one has a "leg pouch" that "opens for easy diaper changes", I was super psyched. No more horrible RRRRIIIIIIIIIIIP!!! sounds (from the velcro) in the middle of the night, startling a sleepy baby. But there is no such leg opening. This swaddler is identical to the smaller ones, just bigger. So although I still think it's a great product, I was let down by the misleading description.

Huge thumbs up! A true lifesaver...
This is a great product. I bought this hoping that it would make swaddling easier but it has done so much more. My son is now 5 weeks old and the SwaddleMe has done wonders keeping him to sleep. I didn't wanna buy too many of these as I understand some babies do not like swaddling. However, I'd buy more than 1 if you suspect doing baby laundry will be a challenge. I especially love this as newborns have difficulty controlling movements of arms and legs due to their reflexes. When I swaddle in a regular blanket my son wakes him self up as he breaks free from all the movement when I put him down to sleep. With the SwaddleMe, it is harder for him to break free so he stays asleep. If you are worried about swaddling too tight it is easily adjustable and you can keep the upper body swaddled if you need to do a quick diaper change. Huge thumbs up!

My favorite swaddlers
These are my favorite swaddles (and the cheapest). I used the small ones for my son and daughter but my son grew out of his before he was ready to stop being swaddled. I tried the Woombie, the Love to Dream, and the Miracle Blanket, but despite being the cheapest option, these definitely worked the best. My son started to break out of them, so I used a small thin blanket folded in a triangle. I would lay that on top of the Swaddle Me, then wrap it around his arms and tuck is behind his back, then swaddle him up. It worked perfectly and he couldn't break out, but it was better than the Miracle Blanket because I didn't have to wrap a long piece of material around and around him and it staid secure with the velcro. Other reviewers have pointed out that one seems bigger than the other. This is true for the smaller version as well, but I think it is on purpose and I liked it because it gives your baby room to grow from size to size. I've attached pictures of how I used the blanket with the SwaddleMe to keep my baby from breaking out. My daughters dolly agreed to stand in for my baby :)

Baby Must Have!
Could not have lived without these!! Our son was a big-time arm flail-er and would wake himself up by smacking himself right in the face. Sooo frustrating after you put in the 30-plus minute process of rocking cuddling reading shushing him to sleep. We never mastered the super tight swaddle with a blanket, so enter these: so easy to get on him and keep him snug as a bug in a … swaddle? We made it part of our nap/sleeping process so he knows once this goes on, it's time to sleep. The only downside is the velcro does wake him up, so incognito diaper changes in the middle of the night are not possible. But we generally wait for him to wake up anyway so this wasn't an issue for us. We ended up with about 10 so we'd never run out when others were in the laundry. A baby must have!

A must-have!
Necessity in our household! Our daughters Moro reflex a.k.a. startle reflex is really strong. She is about three months old and grew out of the small/medium size and I couldn’t believe I actually had to buy a large for her because her startle reflex still kept her from sleeping. This product is very easy to use and my daughter actually smiles when we put it on her because she knows she’s going to have a good sleep as well as us! We usually put a short-sleeved onesie on underneath it since it is now winter time to help keep her comfortable. If she wears a long sleeve onesie she will get too hot and start crying halfway through the night. When it was warmer outside I would just put her without a onesie on into the swaddleme and she was comfortable that way. What I also like about this product is that my daughter is able to sit comfortably in her rocking play which is at an angle and she still able to wear it and have no problems. Love this product!

these are the only swaddles my 6 week baby can't break out of
Pros: very strong, the Velcro has places to stick to on the swaddle so it does not try to cling to EVERYTHING in the dryer, nice patterns, cotton is thick and warm for winter. My baby loves these, and she does NOT break free.Cons: my little girl was 6 lbs when she came home from the hospital and these were definitely too big then and fabric kinda covered her mouth because it was very loose (but she is 8 lbs now and they fit great). Like I said these are thick cotton so it could be easy to overheat your baby in winter if you have your house really warm and your baby in many layers under this so be careful. Can not for the life of me figure out the harness slit, but that's not a big deal, I only use these for baby's sleep time.

Simple but Amazing!
I got one of these while pregnant with my daughter because I thought it looked cute. Fast forward to shortly after she was born, she refused to sleep unless she was swaddled tightly like they did at the hospital! If I swaddled her, she'd be out like a light within minutes. Once she got a little older and more creative in ways to wiggle out, I started double swaddling her using a receiving blanket as the first layer then using the swaddle part (without the legs portion) to keep it tight and secure. Worked for months and I was able to use her swaddle in her swing AND strap her in correctly. I think we eventually stopped swaddling gradually over time. The product itself is really easy to use. You put baby's legs in it, lay them in the middle then wrap it closed with the velcro. I used my small/medium sized one for about 4 months then switched to a large one and used it for about 4 months as well. Never had any issues with tearing or the velcro becoming loose and this thing was used multiple times a day and washed regularly.I now give these to all the expectant moms I know because I loved it so much!

This is super flimsy material
This is super flimsy material. The sides are already torn. It's too big for my 18lbs baby and he can easily free his arms from the swaddle. It's always a struggle every night to get him swaddled. I expected better quality I guess. What a disappointment.

Keeps baby sleeping well at night!
This fits my 3 month old great and by helping to keep him feeling safe and snuggly he sleeps really well at night. I used the smaller ones when he was first born and was so glad they made larger ones to keep him in as he grows.

I love these swaddle bags
I love these swaddle bags! My little girl needs to be swaddled otherwise I can't lay her down to nap. There are very easy to use and keep her wrapped up tight all night. My only issue with this transaction is as an amigos prime member I was supposed to receive 2 day shipping and it took 5 days

Three Stars
The fabric isn't overly soft but the swaddle does the trick.
