I wasn't impressed the first time I used the brush but I tried again and this time really moved the brush around in my mouth. You need to use mouthwash or foam toothpaste and really move it around to reach around your teeth. Mine are almost squeaky now. I still think flossing is a must but I highly recommend a try. I've read the reviews and can only say it's down to the technique.

I have a German made Ultrasonic toothbrush that was very expensive, so I was curious to try this device. Ultrasonic cleaning works through cavitation, where the implosion of tiny bubbles cleans and lifts stains. Studies show ultrasound is effective in removing biofilms on the teeth. For it to work, you need toothpaste that forms bubbles and an ultra frequency higher than 20,000hz. The specification of this 'ultrasonic' cleaner states on the box that the maximum Frequency is 48,000 per minute. That is about 800hz which is NOT an ultrasonic frequency! So I am doubtful it will clean with cavitation. Nevertheless, as a simple 'sonic' toothbrush it works OK for the price and is possibly better than a regular sonic cleaner with a brush head, as this transmits more energy. It is OK for sensitive teeth. But it isn't ultrasonic!

I’ve found this to be a total waste of money. It doesn’t “brush your teeth” like a normal toothbrush, which is what I bought it for. Maybe I got the wrong impression of the product, but with all the advertising I feel very disappointed.

We have tried a myriad of products to support our child to improve his oral hygiene. He is very sensitive to stimulus and brushing properly was often too much. With this product, he can brush effectively and we have seen an improvement. It helps to be hands-free too as he can get distracted while he brushes. I still ask him to use a regular toothbrush once a week because this is not as efficient to brush gums and the only reason it's missing a star it's because I think the duration of brushing is too small. (I ask my son to run over every programme to make sure he gets the most of it.) I had my doubts about this product and it was on my shopping list for a long time. All things considered, I should have bought it sooner. Recommend buying.

Teeth didn’t feel clean afterwards and doesn’t clean behind the molars. Not enough force.

Great bit of kit, leaves you’re mouth feeling really clean, I use normal toothpaste, brush it around my teeth first the blast with the ultrasonic for 40 seconds.

I'm not saying it's small, but, it only reaches and cleans your front teeth.
