For the price, this is an awesome cover. I use it to cover my swim spa and I am able to turn off the spa heater because it really heats up the spa well; maybe too well with this 97F weather. Pros: Easy to remove for one person. Spa cover is crazy heavy for swim spas. Stays on well even with some wind because it has some suction with the water. Cheap! Keeps spa heated with sun so it saves on electricity (I turned off spa heater) since I like to take a dip at night but even if it's hot during the day, the temps can drop quickly after sunset. Keeps debris out Cons: The material can tear easily and will last probably one year or a season. For the price, it's a small con. I will update this review in the future regarding durability. No way to install a reel for a spa, I think I can make my own. Small con

just your usual solar cover, it's essentially just a large sheet of heavy duty bubble wrap, but that's what it's supposed to be, and it works just as it's supposed to. It lets the heat in and traps it from getting out, heating up the water. It's very easy to put on, I actually cut a small hole on the end of it and attached a rope to it so it makes it even easier to put on when I'm doing it by myself. But it just floats on top of the water, so it's easy to get on and off. I had the cover on for about 2 days and it warmed my newly set up pool from freezing to just a little bit off from perfect in just that 2 days. Left it on for another 2 days the water was a nice luke warm, and was great. But something to keep in mind is that this cover heats, I'd say about a foot into the water, and the rest is the same cold temp it was before. When you first get In after taking the cover off it'll be warm in some spots then ice cold in others, but once you mix it around a bit it becomes a very nice water temp. The only down fall I guess I'd say this has is it's horrible at keeping the bugs and dirt out, which i expected. With all the cotton wood trees here in New Mexico blowing around my pool has been filled with cotton this past week, and the cover doesn't prevent this at all. This isn't meant to be a full on cover, so just expect to run your skimmer a bit after taking it off. I think I'm going to leave it on for the next 2 days or so and then leave it off until the water starts to get cold again then put it on, but so far it was great, at least now I'm not freezing when I get in the pool even in 85 degree weather.

This is the first year using a solar cover and man has it made a difference! I can actually get in the pool now because it's not freezing cold! The last few years have been difficult keeping a pool in swimming condition... I actually got rid of a pool last year only to buy one from someone who said they had the same problem with the pool turning green no matter how much work was done no matter the amount of chemicals... well that same pool that turned green for them has been crystal clear for me this summer thanks to this solar cover. It looks a little cloudy only bcuz my filter pump went and I am waiting on a new pump... but this is with a few days each week using the pump one to two days each week. Testing chemical levels and adjusting... last year by this time the pool was so green I couldn't reverse it. Will definitely purchase thru this company again when the cover needs replaced. I saw comments complaining about the holes or about it sinking... I've not had any issues and yes it has the holes, it has to have them... I used a tarp before this and without holes in it, it was a pain to get off if it rained or got a little water in it. Cheapest cover around

Great cover. Fits inter 9x18 pool perfectly. I give it 4/5 stars because it lasts only about a year (but maybe that's how long it is meant to last given the price?) We live on the California Central Coast and have our pool open year-round. I use the pool almost daily taking the cover on/off. We last bought the cover Aug 30th 2024 and I'm ordering a new one now (Aug 16, 2025) because the old one has ripped down the middle and is shedding the little plastic bubbles. Does a half decent job keeping the heat in year round.

I just received this on Wednesday 05/03/23. I Installed it with my iopool tester. I can’t testify to the durability of it, but if I get one season out of it then the $40 is well worth it . I check the temp about a100 times a day( I can’t help it) I am so impressed with the simplicity yet effectiveness of the cover. In three days with day temps in mid 60s- low 70s the cover has raised the temp8-9 degrees. This is with ambient temperatures dropping into the 40s and 50s at night. The cover helps retain the heat ant night. With the 20 or so temp drop at night the pool only loses 2-3 degrees. I live in KY, my pool isn’t even facing south to maximize sun exposure. For reference I have an above ground intex 8’x16”x42”. I believe it holds about 2870 gallons of water. This cover is well worth the money!!!!!!! Check out my temp charts from my iopool app.////// Update as of 09/05/23 the cover is officially toast. We got 4 solid months out of it. Given the price = $10 a month I would say it’s well worth it. Not only did it hear my pool I think I had it up to 96 degrees but it also help’s cut down on the amount of chemicals I have to add. Will buy another this winter so I have it ready for spring.

Bought this May 9, 2025. Today is October 13th. For context, I have used this cover for 5 total months. Today I went to pull the cover out and it disintegrated. It had been slowly losing its blue bubbles into the pool the last two months. Today I fished out most of what was left with a net skimmer, and there are still thousands of pieces of plastic in the pool. Currently draining it completely because it's now contaminated and will clog a filter if it got inside one. Do not buy this. Spend your money on literally anything else. This product is a piece of crap.

This solar pool cover exceeded our expectations. The fit was perfect and it helped heat our pool so well that we left the solar cover off on the really hot days. The material was durable and light weight.

This is not as good as previous covers I have purchased would not get anther.

I was skeptical but I have been proven wrong. It actually works! The quality is good, I had read other brand that there would be little blue pieces floating in their pool which was not the case with this one. It is extremely large so it was too big for my pool but I just let it hang off the sides. Worth it
