They work fine. My doctor failed to remove some stitches during an office visit for stitch removal. I used these scissors to snip those stitches off at home, and they worked well. They're easy to handle, sharp, and curved so that they didn't cut my skin. Although their original use is done, I'm going to be keeping these scissors in a first-aid kit from now on, because those aforementioned features make it great for wound care. Remember to pair your purchase with fine-tipped tweezers, though, if you're getting these for either a first-aid kit or stitches. Trying to grab teeny tiny stitch thread with big, flat tweezers near my skin was problematic. My tweezers were more of a skin threat than these scissors!

I like this pair of scissors because it's very precise and sharp. Great for keeping eyebrows trimmed and looking neat when you're older and your hair is not cooperating like it did during your 20's (haha).
