Just received it today. Had a tough clog and 2 easy pumps cleared it. Very sturdy.

These industrial strength plungers get the job done! And you can't beat the cost for 2 - cheaper than the cost of 1 at a brick & mortar store! Do yourself a favor & buy these.

These actually are great plungers -- work great and strong. Only 4 stars because when you do the first push/plunge the water in the toilet splashes out! Every time. But they work and handle is strong.

This plunger functions (out performs) the standard red plunger. The "accordion" style rubber plunger works well to give more force. It is a thick, but pliable rubber. The metal handle functions better than wood handle ones. Also, it has a dome shape inside the cup to help keep it clean.

After two and a half years of usage, this plunger works great, and is going strong. I think I need to buy more, because my college age children are taking them to college! I'll be purchasing more soon! Some tips: 1. get the toilet bowl as full as possible, but not above where the water enters the bowl 2. Keep a previously used gallon container (milk or distilled water or spring water) filled with tap water. Use it to slightly add water to keep the water level high in the bowl, and use it after successful plunging to rinse the plunger off (so it doesn't smell nearly as bad afterwards). 3. Work on getting your plunging technique perfected. Start the plunging motion, and get into a plunge-and-retract rhythm, and continue doing it until you feel like some other forces are at play. You might describe it as the plunging is slighly harder, or you can feel the effect of the back-and-forth motion causing the water in the plugged up area is moving with your rhythm (a very good thing - as the material that caused the clog-up is now loose). 4. Gently pull the plunger up, so that the bowl can empty. If you had a nearly full bowl of water, all that water now will help push the clogging material out of the toilet (and much beyond). 5. Rinse the plunger with water (a gallon of tap water standing by is helpful now). 6. Once the toilet refills with water, flush it again. This has an addition cleaning effect on the sides of the toilet's lower water paths of material that might contribute to future clogs.

After trying all kinds of plungers, including the new fangled pressure gun type, this is the best yet. Despite the handle being rather lightweight, this toilet plunger opened my clog immediately. The rubber compression portion appears to be well made, of a thick rubber material. It has a bellows design and it actually has several portions in the bellows to aid in suction - which is an important part of dislodging a clog. I highly recommend this unit!

This is the best plunger I have ever used. It clears bad clogs quickly with much less effort than was necessary with other plungers. We have a family member on medication that creates big hard stools. I highly recommend this plunger.

The telescoping handle did not lock on the plunger which renders the plunger useless. It has definite potential to be a great set as the caddy is aa very nice looking way of storage for both plunger & brush but the plunger being the major piece & unusable definitely kills any & all potential & it appears that it is something that happens appallingly often. I would not recommend this set with the telescoping handle & would go for the regular handle instead. The brush works great & makes quick work of cleaning the toilet. They get you by throwing in the handy little sink plunger which my set was missing as well. Very disappointing!
