Great racks! Super sturdy and perfect for maximizing storage. It took me a couple days to install, but once they were up, the difference in my garage was huge. Tons of space freed up and everything feels secure. I also purchased more nuts and bolts to make more secure on vertical rails. Has two on each rail I put 3-4.

Great medium to heavy duty product. I bought 2 of these pairs. Installed all 4 up and they're holding lots of my extra items off the garage floor. It'll take you some time to install these. They're a little heavy to lift up so if you can't support the weight while installing then hire someone to do it. I'd recommend these.

The storage rack is sturdy once everything is bolted down. No concerns with it holding overall household items, luggage, bins and boxes. I easily have ~300 lbs stowed on it. The instructions could be a bit better, perhaps a video showing someone who doesn’t put these types of things up for a living how to envision the setup. Definitely recommend taking your time and DO NOT tighten things down until it’s fully setup where you intend. Materials are high quality!

These overhead garage storage racks are very good quality. I installed them by myself, which isn't easy. I would suggest most people may want to get at least one other person to help but I am a do-it-myself guy that has no patience to wait. The racking is fantastic, the hard part was finding the center of the rafters / trusses to make sure the anchor bolts would work well. I installed these in our old house a few years ago and I missed having these. It frees up so much space.

Easy to put together clear instructions

So I finally got around to installing this and wow! It was easier than I thought it would be as I was able to install it by myself in about 2 hours. What made it so easy was the ability to install the supports directly on the back wall of my garage. This is much easier than intalling the ceiling supports. The instructions on this are not the clearest but I made my way through and it worked beautifully. Once completed, it is rock solid. The grates were slightly bent but still very usable and I blame that on FedEx as the box was beat to he!! when it arrived, so much so that the nuts and bolts broke out of the bag and were all over in the box. Fortunately none were lost in transit. I liked this so much that I just bought the 3' x 8' version to install along the side wall for additional storage. When you install this, just make sure everything is left loose until all parts are installed, then tighten everything. This allows for some adjustment in positioning.

Give yourself 3-6 hours to install this one. Having a friend would make this much easier. Take your time orienting the pieces and it will save you a lot of time. It took me 4 hours by myself. I did mess up a few times and had to reposition the rack by 1 inch away from the chain that drives the garage door. I also messed up when mounting the vertical extension a few times. All in all this can be done by yourself in about 3 hours if you do not mess anything up. Instructions are accurate and can be trusted when installing, do reference them for measurements! I already ordered a second one for the right side. This is a great storage kit that comes with everything you need, just make sure you do your measurements correctly, although it does come with very short vertical brackets, I think it will fit any garage. I did a few pull ups once it was installed and that thing seemed solid so I did not hesitate to start throwing some of my less used items up there and its been 100% solid ever sense. If you are on the fence, don't be - this is a good product at a great price!

I got the 18-33" model and actually just used the single hanging bars (which was the perfect height). With 21" of clearance, I couldn't make the hanging bars any longer without interfering or bumping into the garage door. This gave 15.5" of clearance from the ceiling for storage; which is near perfect height for those plastic storage tubs that I have. This is a great system for storing stuff you only need once or twice a year and just wanted it out of the way. So they clear up a lot of space and clutter by utilizing, previously, useless wasted space.
