An edging tip on Harder wax
This is intentionally a hard wax! It will do as designed, but many think softer beeswax, that is wrong in my opinion. I use it as a last edging coat, preferably with a warmed heated edge tool. Then a clean microfiber cloth smoothing overall, for a last wipe. I use a new clean small soldering iron, plugged in a variable temp. box, to get the best smoothing, at a lower cost.

Works but not very stiff
The wax works for sealing leather edges, but the texture is softer than I expected. It does the job, but it’s not as firm or durable as higher-quality edge waxes I’ve tried. Still usable for small projects, just not the best option for heavy work.

Little elbow grease
Not as easy to work with as the burnishing gum but still does the job.

Reapplication Required
I recently tried the Leather Edging Sealing Wax Polishing Wax, and my experience falls somewhere in the middle. Pros: Effective Edging Sealant: The wax does a decent job of sealing and finishing leather edges. It provides a protective layer and enhances the overall polished look of the leather. Easy Application: Applying the wax is straightforward, and it adheres well to the leather. The process is relatively quick, and the wax dries within a reasonable timeframe. Cons: Limited Color Options: The availability of colors is somewhat limited. A broader range of color options would be beneficial for those seeking specific shades to match their leather projects. Durability Concerns: While the wax initially provides a good finish, I noticed that the durability is not as long-lasting as expected. Over time, especially with regular use, the sealant tends to wear off, requiring more frequent reapplication. Slightly Pricey for Quantity: Considering the quantity provided, the price seems a bit on the higher side. It would be more appealing if either the quantity increased or the price point became more competitive. Conclusion: In summary, the Leather Edging Sealing Wax Polishing Wax serves its purpose adequately, providing a decent finish to leather edges. However, the limited color options, durability concerns, and slightly higher price point prevent it from receiving a higher rating. It's a satisfactory option for those with specific color needs who don't mind occasional reapplication.

Is it plastic?????
Not sure what to say or what it is. It said to heat it up , it took five minutes in the microwave to even start to soften up. Then put it on the leather edge, then it became a flaky wax that would take some time to burnish in if it even did that. Time and money wasted. Don’t put yourself through what I and others have done. If I coul give this product a negative 100 I would. Happy trails.

The size is quite enlarged on the ad, so understand it is under 3.5 inches long, 1.25 inches wide, and 3/8 inches thick. So it is small, however, it will do what you want it to do. It is hard wax that can be used to wax the surface of leather, so the pricking fork will go through and come out easily. It can also be used to burnish edges, and wax thread stitch areas to let the needle go through more easily. Soft paraffin wax works as well, but I've not used it for burnishing. Don't wax any edge you want to glue, or you'll learn the same lesson I did. A smirk and two pieces of leather that fall from your hands. Yeah, I did laugh after I stopped cussing.

No product instructions, safety notices, storage recommendations. Glad I knew what to expect I might have tried showering with it otherwise!
