i have recently lost my hyperx mic, i ordered this mic and i am happy with the results, it definitely does its job, and is almost the same thing. The only thing is that it wear the jack is, it does not fit perfectly in the slot, but still plugs in fine. this is a great product and deserves my 5 stars

Great replacement for my head set.It is my second mic in 6 years but the headphones are awesome.

DO NOT BUY. I paid $21 including shipping to get just a mic that doesn’t even work. it only works in a certain spot meaning the mic’s wiring is bad (and at that i cant even get a word out which is the point of the mic). Does whoever manufacture’s these not check to see if it works. I’m very dissatisfied to the point I don’t even want a refund and it’s in the garbage.

I've only had this for a few days- so I may check back in further down the line if things change. This replacement mic does about all you can ask of it- It picks up sound just fine and fits the slot on the headset. I cannot attest to the audio/pickup quality of the replacement vs. the original, and don't know if this actually has an impact on the end result, but the actual mic head looks simpler/cheaper on this product. A couple things that are aesthetically different from the original, but shouldn't have an impact on performance: The mic doesn't sit flush with the edge of the headset (On HyperX Cloud - see image). The finish is slightly different - the original has a rubberized plasti-dip type matte coating, where this is bare textured plastic. Neither of these things bother me, but everyone is different and I figured that it would be worth pointing out. It does its job, was decent enough value, and got here on time. It gets 5 stars from me.

Overall the mic works fine, soudn quality isn't as good as the factory mic but it gets the job done. The mic has a hallowish sound, almost as if i was talking from a foot or two away but the quality doesn't suffer other than that. If you need a new mic quick this is the one I would get.

Easy to use

The microphone that I received actually did fit the headset unlike a lot of the other reviews for this product, so I suppose I got lucky. However, the sound quality is noticeably worse than the original microphone. So the performance is worse overall. It's probably still worth the money though if you are able to get the correct mic.

I bought the HyperX Clouds way back in the day for gaming. I lost the mic for them, so gaming with them was kind of a lost cause. But, I kept them because not having the mic doesn't impact their ability as headphones. With most interactions being through online services these days, I wanted an adequate headset for such meetings. For like 20$, I could finally replace the mic after all this time, and after testing it out, I'm happy to report that the shape fits the microphone jack/input spot on the headset, and others can hear me perfectly clearly. Very satisfied.

The item has completely died within 3 months. Not fit for purpose.
