Great Handsome Ice Mould
These make great ice for shaking, mixing, and serving drinks. • Makes nice cubes with clean crisp edges. • Easy to pop out of the moulds especially when you hold the bottom of the tray under some room temp water for a bit.(highly recommend) • Very space efficient. They are stackable which is incredibly useful and there is no wasted space in their design making them take up as little space in your freezer as possible. • They are designed in a way that you aren't intended to fill them to the brim. This makes them way easier to carry from your sink to the freezer. This avoids spills and makes it so each cube is completely separate and there is not a thin sheet of ice connecting every cube. This makes the cubes easier to extract, avoids little shards of ice, and makes your cubes look cleaner. (also helps with stackability) I do think I might get a 1" alongside the 1.5" one I already have so I can fit more cubes in my Collins glasses. With the 1.5" cubes I can't get 2 side by side in the glass so they only stack on top of each other. This isn't a problem with the product though because I should just get a different size for different uses Great buy. Highley Reccomend!!!

White Residue!? Freezer burn Smell!?
(I make a lot of ice especially in the warmer months) I read that the white residue substance that is leftover in the trays, once you take the ice cubes out, comes from your water composition. I have found that it’s not easy to clean these trays, because after every use, there is always the white residue. I’m soaking my trays in a vinegar and water mixture right now, I’m hoping that they will be easier to clean after soaking… Also, I noticed that overtime, the ice cubes tasted like freezer burn! I read that you can get the freezer burn, smell out of the ice cube trays by putting them in the oven, but that is only supposed to work if they’re 100% silicone! It says they’re made in China, so…? I hope I can trust the company— it doesn’t say 100% silicone on Amazon advertisement. I’m going to write TOVOLO here and see what they say or look on the Internet to see if there is more information on a website… P.S. I WILL NO LONGER BE PUTTING THESE TRAYS IN THE OVEN BECAUSE THE SMELL HAD ME CHOKING. COOKING SILICONE PURE OR UNPURE = NO MORE! I WILL JUST BE USING VINEGAR FOR CLEANING MOVING FORWARD.

Gives me the cubes I want, just takes some effort
If upgrading from shallow, plastic trays, this may be a hassle with regard to removing ice cubes. Takes a bit more effort, but if you're looking for larger cubes, this will definitely do the job. You'll want to ensure your tray lies on a flat surface, otherwise your cubes will warp a bit.

Makes 30 nice big ice cubes
Silicone is always the way to go with ice trays! I always end up cracking plastic trays, and it's just hard to get the ice out of metal ones. But silicone releases the cubes easily. These don't take up too much room in the mini fridge. (I know, I need to defrost - but not right now, I'm making ice!) But they yield a generous amount of nice big cubes. Easy to clean and there's nice colors available that you don't see all the time. I ended up getting the Indigo but the Cayenne is really attractive too.

Rubber ice cube tray
I found it difficult to get the ice cubes out if I want one or two for a drink. Thought it would be more flexible. Cubes are a nice size easy to fill.

Great sized cubes, tray seems pretty sturdy.
Size of cubes, tray construction material and ease of use. Much preferred over our old plastic trays which broke, cacked, and leaked.

Too sturdy
At first I loved how stable these trays felt. It was easy to transfer them to the freezer without spilling a lot of water. But that sturdiness comes at cost. It was a struggle to remove the cubes once frozen. My hands burned from the cold as tried to force them out of the silicone tray. I had I to take several breaks while my fingers recovered so I could go at if again. I realize now the flimsy cheap ones I have will now be my goto trays. These will simply be backups if an abundance of ice is needed.
