This book contains the kind of material I expected to read, and them some. You will learn the history of tobacco and cigars, and the growing and harvesting of the leaves. In addition, you will learn everything that there is to learn about the making of a fine and not so fine cigar. I was enlightened by reading about the very interesting subject of the Cuban Trade Embargo as it relates to cuban cigars, which is also contained in this book.I believe that I don't have to purchase another book to learn what I wanted to learn about cigars. Garbage and dated . Don't waste a dime on it

You buy it. Nice book, with a lot of past and present informations about cigars and cigars manufacturers. In the meanwhile you are reading it, could be a great moment to light up a good cigar, dealing it, with you favorite brand of Cognac or Whiskey. This is it!

I got this for my honey and he loves it as it shows closeup pics of all kinds of cigars as well as descriptions and fakes. Get him a humidor as well and a cutter and lighter and your man will love it....that is if he's into cigars.

Good pictures, nice stories, but not actually very good cigar book. Although some cigars are presented.but this is the situation. There is no good cigar books except that very expensive one
