Spectrum Multiplication 3rd Grade Math Workbook, Multiplying Through 100, Test Prep, and Critical Thinking Problems, Classroom or Homeschool Curriculum (Volume 112)

We bought this to work with our child during summer break. Kids tend to loose the curriculum they learn during the summer, and we assign them/work with them a couple pages a day, and it has worked wonderfully. Our children were essentially able to master the next grade years curriculum by the start of the new school year. This brand of books seems to match school textbooks/curriculum as close as possible from all the different brands of books we have purchased. They are well written and follow a natural progression of the subjects, building from the beginning of the school year, advancing to more advanced subject at the end of the grade level. We have made it a tradition to buy the next grade level books every summer, resulting in being more than prepared for class at the start of the year. They also are great for enrichment during the school year on subjects that the student needs a little extra help with. We buy every year.

Very helpful

I really like this workbook for extra multiplication practice. It starts with single digit multiplication and builds up to two digits multiplied by one digit. Word problems are also incorporated. I was surprised that the pages are not perforated or rip out pages like I am used to in other Spectrum workbooks. Not a deal breaker though - just makes me shift the way I typically use these books (I usually make packets of worksheets stapled together for my kids).

Can’t complain

I love that I can use Spectrum for reinforcing what my students are learning in the classroom. It also provides my students extra practice of skills. Used these products in the past to teach something I am not familiar with, and it helped me teach as well. Overall I will continue to buy Spectrum books!

I would rate Spectrum workbooks 5 star in general. Spectrum is better than other workbooks in terms of content. But, I would skip this specific book - multiplication3. This has mainly simple problems (1-digit and 1-digitx2digit) that you can hand write for your kids to do on scratch papers to save money. The only value is in the word problems, which are just 20% of the book. Plus, this is very thin for kids to master simple multiplication. Again, you can make your own worksheets, then purchase multiplication4 without going through multiplication3. For division, I will skip grade 3 workbook and get 4. Still, I will stick with Spectrum workkbooks.
