Actually works!
Needed to cut new glass for an antique meter gauge. I had never cut glass before. This tool and one youtube video later and I did it. This allowed me to get the dimensions precise and the glass fit perfectly.

Easily cut a mirror in half.
Only used once but it worked perfectly. Needed to cut in mirror in half and it worked great. I’d never used one before but it was pretty simple after watching a tutorial video.

Well
It does its job very well, I didn't give it 5 stars because you have to rest your hand on it too much.

Excellent and well made glass cutters.
These glass cutters are excellent. I taught stained glass at a high school for years, and this is what all my students learned to use. They used these to create their beautiful windows and glass boxes.

This glass cutter does not work.
Wow, this is actually complete garbage. I barely managed to make one cut with it before the blade was completely dull. Do yourself a favor and spend a few bucks more for a proper one with changeable cutters. Wish I'd used it sooner so I could get a refund. Seriously, do not buy this thing.

The glass matters
First glass cutter I've had in my hands in decades. All I've seen lately have pot metal bodies instead of the cast iron of my youth. This has a pot metal or zamak handle also. I bought this to cut some microscope sides to make sensor windows. My first attempt at cutting had me underwhelmed. It scored the glass with high effort but I didn't hear the sound I expected. I did oil the wheel, something I didn't know about years ago. I took my usb microscope and inspected the cutting wheel. It is sharp and shows signs of being ground to shape. So the cutting edge is good. A bit more research indicated that on the scale of hard to easy, microscope slides are on the hard side. I attacked a jar and a beverage bottle with the tool. I heard that crunching sound I expected. It scored them with little effort. To make scoring from edge to edge easier, I put a piece of discard slide on both edges of the intended score so the wheel didn't have to deal with the edges. For general glass cutting I give it 5 stars.
