A Luxury Indugence
This inflator is a complete luxury indulgence for a home shop, but boy-oh-boy, it makes those quirky Presta valves a breeze to fill accurately and quickly. I like the fact that the gauge needle is thin and precise. I compared the reading to my very expensive and accurate drag race tire gauge which came with a calibration certificate, and it is virtually identical. This thing is big and heavy in hand, but seems ergonomically designed, and works on Shrader valves by just rotating the head 180°. So, you can be assured that you are riding with properly inflated tires in just a few squeezes of the handle. If you do happen to go a little over, the release button bleeds a bit of air to zero in on the spec in just a few seconds. This beats any other inflator I have ever tried for bike tires, as it is faster and more accurate.I have a number of Park brand tools, and I have always found them to be of good quality and well designed in almost every case. But what really impresses me is their customer service. They stock repair and replacement parts for almost everything they make. I have a 30 year old bike repair stand, and they had all the rebuild parts for the clamps. I also had a problem with the threaded nut on a crank puller and they sent out a replacement nut right away. They stock all the rubber seals and little parts inside the head of this inflator in case you ever have to rebuild it, but it seems that in my home application that will be a long time from now, if ever.

Like the Snap-On of Bike Tools
I have had so many other inflation tools for my bikes and yes, those all were so much cheaper, but the accuracy, ease of use, and quality of this tool is striking. It does not leak air. I can just leave it attached to the compressor hose and there are no slow leaks from anywhere. This is not the case with other tools I have purchases which leak from all over the place. The gauge is highly accurate and best off all, since there is no dangling head attached to a hose, I don't need a third hand to use this tool. It takes 5-10 seconds to grab this from its hook, attach it either to a shrader or Presta valve, and inflate to an exact PSI. There is no fumbling around and best of all, no pumping. I ride trails almost every day and checking my PSI before every ride is mandatory. Even a few PSI loss can mean the difference between a pinch flat or no flat. This tool saves me maybe just a couple of minutes each day, but add that up over time and I think it is worth every penny.

Commercial quality tire inflator
Sometimes, you just can't resist the siren call of quality, and that's exactly what happened when I decided to invest in the Park inflator for my beloved mountain bikes. After battling with cheap Amazon Presta inflators and feeling underwhelmed by the PrestaFlator, I finally caved in and went for the Park. And boy, am I glad I did! This thing is an absolute beast. From the moment you hold it, you can feel the robustness in its construction, like it's the Arnold Schwarzenegger of inflators. No more pesky leaks to deal with when pressuring up tires; it's airtight and dependable. It's a tool that oozes quality, and if you're a fan of well-built, reliable tools, you're in for a treat. The Park inflator is the kind of tool that makes you look forward to your tire maintenance days, and it's a worthy addition to any bike enthusiast's arsenal.

Does one thing only and does it very well. Not the right tool for non-bicycle tires through.
This is not a tire chuck for any generic tire. It is a bicycle tire chuck and for that it is excellent. I finally have a tire chuck that will inflate my Presta valved tires quickly and easily. If you are looking for a tire chick for inflating any tire on any vehicle or tool buy a Jaco. The stems on my cars, truck, wheelbarrow, hand truck etc. are all at an angle for which it is really hard to get this chuck to line up with the Schrader valves. My bicycle tires and all bicycle tires have stems that are 90 degrees to the rim so they are easy to get with this 90 degree chuck head. You might be able to get some non-bicycle tires with this chuck but it most likely won't be at a convenient angle making the job less than hassle free.I appreciate that this has what at first appearance seems to be a quality analogue gauge. No batteries to die when you need it most and plenty accurate enough for inflating bicycle tires.I kept this tire chuck for my bicycles and bought a Jaco inflator for every other tire.
