So, I never write reviews. Actually, I have never written a review. But without going on like a crazy cat obsessed person that I have become in the last 5 years of becoming a cat mom to two lynx point siamese cats (Boy & Girl Ages 4 & 5 who have been eating this since I got them at 5-9 month old kittens)... I can give you a summary of why I choose and continue to choose this food. 1. NUTRITION. I decided to EXTENSIVELY research food & prolonged life. Just like people, what you eat matters. And this food has no MEAL or CHICKEN BY-PRODUCT. It is GRAIN FREE. You want high quality meats, and no fillers, or as little as possible. Grains are used as fillers. I went on Reviews.com-- looked up info on all cat foods, RATINGS, RECALLS, DIET ANALYSIS BY SCIENTISTS... ect. This one passed with its all natural ingredients. 2. YOU CAN FEEL GOOD. It is a small privately owned company. They do not cut corners. Though it is on the expensive side, it's worth it! You know exactly what your getting. The purpose of RAWZ (after taxes and reserve) is to donate 100% of the profits to: A) Providing Service Dogs B) Spinal Cord Injury Support C) Traumatic Brain Injury Support. So, you know that no mega company is lining their pockets, and by feeding your cat THE BEST FOOD POSSIBLE, you are simultaneously SUPPORTING PEOPLE WHO NEED HELP. Getting While GIVING BACK, with NO EFFORT! 3. MY CATS LOVE THE TASTE. I feed them wet, twice a week for dinner. BUT, as far as dry food goes... THEY LOVE THIS! Sometimes I feel "bad" they have to eat the same thing everyday for months and months to no avail... so I mix in a second brand 2:1 ratio. Let me tell you... My female cat PICKS OUT THE RAWZ ONLY. She leaves "every other kibble" It takes her 5x as long... but no matter which brand I have mixed in... She REFUSES IT, unless she has skipped a meal, because The male has glomed her portion. Why have I always done a 2:1 ratio? because the Crude Protein, Crude Fat, or Crude Fiber contents in other foods have been lower or too high. And finding the correct balance is important, and I want to jazz it up (and occasionally have with two other 2nd & 3rd place "comparable brands") but I don't want them to suffer nutritionally. And AFTER DISCOVERING THEY PREFER THE RAWZ.... why bother? They LOVE IT SO MUCH. 4. Their POOP DOESN'T STINK to high hell on this! (But it still smells... it's a cat after all) While jazzing it up a few times... I realized "Wow... Their poop smells on this different foods" This food is a good option! 5. It's NEVER BEEN RECALLED! I FEEL SAFE GIVING IT TO MY CATS! Obviously you can tell I'm a crazy cat lady. It's clear. It's also clear, I love to research and learn. It's MOST important that if you combine the two, you can see I LOVE MY CATS. I'm a cat mom, and I want what's best for them. I WANT THEM TO LEAD HEALTHY LIVES UNTIL THEY ARE 16 YEARS OLD. To be with me as long as possible, healthy and happy. So, when I did my research, I was like: NO BRAINER! They Deserve the BEST!! What's also clear is an extensively LONG REVIEW. WHY? I have OCD. (Hence all my research) Haha! But, What's in it for me? WELL, NOTHING. Except, I got to kill some time. It's Covid-19. I'm BORED. ALSO, I recently fell and injured my lower back at the base of my spine SO... I'm IN PAIN and looking to distract myself: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! I realized "I will be out of cat food soon, let me order more." And then I figured I'd write a review in the process. But, It's NOT A PAID REVIEW. (I Wish!-- Though I hate the Idea of People participating in those in the first place. Deceitful.) And IT'S NOT PROMOTIONAL. (I'm not getting anything in return.) Hopefully I was able to help possibly guide a new cat owner, or re-direct an experienced cat owner into something better. Or just provide info. Also I have ordered from this particular owner multiple times now. It's gone well.

My kitty is very happy with this cat food. I also buy her the wet cat food by Rawz. She has more energy and her hair is beautiful. It is pricey but it is worth every cent to get quality food for our sweet Molly.

I have been on a search for a really good high protein organic kibble for my Tomas. He was on Taste of the Wild...which I loved for long time...but they have changed the formula or lowered their ingredient quantity so Tom has been looking ragged and loosing an excessive amount of hair. I bought another organic brand and while he liked it I started hearing that they too were changing their formula because Mars bought it out. So I went on yet another search...found this small company Rawz that make organic high protien...no grain, no meal, no processed fats...and all the profits go to helping people get service dogs. The dedication to their cause is because their two sons needed them and they are so hard to get. This means they want to keep it pure and high quality so they give the best. I 🧡 that. As you can see Tomkitty is loving it...he's leaving nothing behind and eating every morsel. It's worth every penny to see him healthy again...his eating it like he's starving to me is a good sign the ingredients are good...it's the first day but I have a feeling we have found the one!!!

My cat loves this food. I add a small amount to her regular food and she gobbles it up! It has all the health benefits a cat needs.

Update to 1st Review: 1) If you could just make the pieces bigger...another line (so those who like the small pieces can still buy them) with bigger pieces... 2) Adjust the price so it is in line with your canned food price, although it is expensive, too, because you only get 18 cans instead of the usual 24. 3) Sell sample packs of both your canned and dry foods. Original Review. This food is much smaller pieces than the picture. I am very disappointed. I need bigger pieces. My cat has trouble eating small pieces. I will give it a 4 because it is healthy food, but it still smells like most dry cat food I have bought. It is also a cute, little bag. But, it's too expensive for the amount of less than 2 lbs. But, if my cat would have eaten it, I would have bought more. All the profits go to charity, but what about some charity (lower prices) to the people trying to feed their pets healthy food? So glad I didn't buy the bigger bag, since my cat won't eat it. It would be nice if pet food companies would sell samples. Some of us are in pet food desserts where there are no specialty stores just for pets, where there might - just might - be samples for purchase. So, we have to rely on the big companies that ship. So, my search for healthy, dry, cat food, in large pieces continues...

My 2-year old cat had to get most of her teeth and molars removed and this was the only quality ingredient dry cat food she would eat. I think it was a mouth feel thing. She won't eat wet so dry was the only option. The kibble is little triangles, easy for her to scoop in her mouth, and the ingredient list is excellent, first 7 ingredients are food. A limited number of distributors sell this product so it is nice to get it here. Also, I believe paying more for quality ingredients is a way to keep my pet healthy. My cat has eaten this like 7 years and she digests it well and enjoys it. I wish it wasn't so expensive, but sometimes you have to pay the price for a better product because the manufacturing or ingredients are superior.

Excellent for picky eaters. My two cats won’t eat anything else. Skin has improved. My friend is feeding it now as well because her cats were refusing their food. She says her cats like it too. First buy was at a raw feeding store when I was there getting raw food for my dogs.

The ingredients in this food are top notch. It's about time someone paid attention to what cats need in their diets . My cats love it

This dehydrated raw food has been a lifesaver for my finicky cat. She absolutely loves the taste, and it’s been gentle on her sensitive digestion. She loves the RAWZ canned Digestive Support food as well! Highly recommend for picky eaters or cats with digestive issues.
