Worked great as repel and friction device
I used these to repel and then as a friction device for small branches when cutting trees and they work great no issues for me

Coating chipped
Let me start with I’m not a seasoned climber… On the inside of one of the rings, the powder coating chipped and left a bur. It’s not in the path where rope would slide, so it shouldn’t cause problems regarding wear and tear. I have used this to repel several times from a hunting saddle set up.
