CVMAX 18" diameter, 8" intake Dust Collection Cyclone kit, single phase with filters

I got to say, I enjoy every minute working with this thing, not to say that other brands are better or worse, but me, upgrading from the push around double bag dust collector to this thing, can't be more pleased; I got the 8" main from it running along the wall for a good 15" with splits to 6" lines all the way to the tool, I can say with certainty that this thing can suck you right thru that pipe, it's that powerful; clear vue did a great job with this one, I love it, price wise, its reasonable, along that you might have to do some installation yourself, but once it is done and put together, this thing works, trust me on that. Clear Vue don't pay me to write this review, I didn't get an discount when I purchase it, as a matter of fact I had some issues with some delay on some parts arrival, but other than that, everything went smooth. I purchased this cyclone directly from Clearvue and couldn’t be happier. I own a small cabinet shop where we manufacture about 12-15 kitchens a year. We operate multiple machines at once including a CNC which creates a ton of debree. This cyclone does an outstanding job collecting the super fine dust even when tooling mdf doors. In fact it’s so strong I have to make sure one other port is open while running or it pulls the bristles on the dust hood inward creating a gap between the material and hood. We regualarly run the cyclone with a 6” port open on the CNC along with a 4” port on the edgebander and another 4” port open on the edge sander. It still has plenty off suction to clean up the mess. Installation was easy but requires 2 people. We hit a little snag but one phone call later I had Catherine on the phone (she’s awesome and extremely knowledgeable) and the problem solved. One thing worth mentioning. The wiring diagram for the 5hp Leeson motor is such that the motor spins clockwise. This is opposite of what you need for this cyclone. There is an alternate diagram to spin the motor the other direction inside the electrical cover and is as simple as switching 2 wires. I purchased the electrical box and clean out with my unit. Be aware that when you purchase the electrical box with remote the only way to operate the cyclone is by remote. There is no manual off/on switch. I purchased 2 extra remotes and have one mounted by the CNC controller and another at the machine. I give this machine and Clearvue 5 stars. Excellent machine. Excellent service. Very pleased I purchased this cyclone over the others.
