This is one of the only brands of makeup that I have found with truly natural ingredients. I am extremely sensitive to any petroleum-based ingredients, and my experience confirms that all of the Prim & Pure products that I have tried so far really and truly are all-natural and free from petroleum and all it's derivatives (such as sulfates). (They have adult makeup & deodorant on their website that I haven't been able to find on Amazon.) This makeup set is perfect for my 5th grader who wants to start wearing makeup. She wears the lip gloss daily, and it adds just a hint of color and makes her feel mature and confident. She has not experimented as often with the other types of makeup, but loves having some eye makeup to experiment with. The one thing she wishes is that there was a more subtle color for blush with this set. (There are more grown-up blush colors available on their website.) I love the zippered bag that comes with the set. It has plenty of room to hold all of her growing makeup collection. It is better quality than many of the other simple cosmetic bags available on Amazon. It is a sturdy canvas outside lined with a flexible plastic (maybe nylon?) and has a good quality zipper.

My four year daughter loves to get into my make up. I bought her this set and keeps her away from mine. It is also clean and non toxic for kids. It looks great and sparkly.

Nice quality and beautiful colors. The sparkle is just right. I wish this company had a compact style powder too since my younger daughter dips her brush in and gets too much each time. Overall great product.

I bought this for my little girls birthday and she loved it! The brushes are beautiful, the makeup colors are stunning, and it’s just the right amount for a young lady. The blush and eyeshadow is very loose powder so it can be very messy, but we are navigating that. It felt a bit pricey, but I know it’s cleaner so I was willing to pay a little extra because it’s for my child. I would get it again!

Exactly what I was looking for for my seven year old daughter. She can now safely play around with makeup and still look like a child. Not only does it have nontoxic ingredients but the makeup goes on very light and natural, more like a shimmer than very much actual color. This allows children to apply it themselves without looking like a clown. The brush assortment is nice and the unicorn mirror is a bit plus!! I had a hard time with the hefty price tag, but honestly, you get what you pay for, which in this case is a carefully thought out assortment of safe, nontoxic makeup. I wish there were more companies that actually cared about our kids and not just themselves. Worth every penny! Thank you Prim and Pure!

My daughter loves makeup. She steals mine all the time so I thought I'd get her her own. I like this set and have purchased many for gifting but I will be holding off to gift to older girls. This was too messy for my 5 year old. This will be great for us in a couple more years.
