So fun!
I am a school nurse and did a class with 2nd graders on the importance of hand washing and how germs spread This little guy was so cute and the kids loved getting to see it up close and touch it. I put glo germ powder all over it and put a black light in my pocket. As I was talking to the kids about how germs, like front he common cold, can spread very easily, they passed this guy around. When everyone got a chance to touch it and hold it, I went around the room and showed the kids their hands with the black light. Then had them wash their hands and see how well they did. All the second grade classes I did it with loved the activity and the teachers thanked me for making it engaging. The cold stuffy is still in my bag to use to teach hand washing on the fly. It feels very well made and washed well in the washer. I dried it on no heat in the dryer and sat it in the sun to continue drying afterwards. Don't wanna actually spend the germs. Lol

Have a favorite science or health teacher , well get them this!
When I was in school, I had a favorite teacher in school who just happened to be a health teacher. Well she loved it, she then proceeded to mess with her other classes by throwing this item around saying, "don't catch a cold!" She then came up with a great idea to teach how germs or the common cold was spread. She proceeded to use this item in class by throwing the stuffed toy and letting the kids play a sort of dodgeball/tag kinda of game of cold catching. Don't worry the toy was not harmed in the process. The toy is a great gift for science or a health teacher, and if your a teacher maybe this could be a great game to play with your class. However if you find this item cute or want to give it to one of your little germ spreaders I recommend the item. It is a very cute product and pretty soft. Thank you for reading my review!

Fun Geek Gift
I am an pre-nursing student and got this as a White Elephant gift for a church Christmas Party. It was a hit! The plushy is pretty large (softball sized) and soft. The tag is educational so it is a great visual to teach kids about germs but safe to play with once the tags are removed. I wrapped this in an empty E-mergency box to add some wit to the gift. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in teaching people about germs or learning about them. Also just a fun "geek" gift.

So cute!
I ordered this because I am a fan of the Giant Microbes collection and already have a few. This Rhinovirus was one of the first ones they came out with, and it's adorable. These things really remind me of Pokemon in their outlandish cuteness, but they're much more educational. I think they transcend different age groups as well: a five year old will think it's adorable, a twelve year old will enjoy reading the tag, and an adult (especially ones who work in and/or appreciate science and medicine) will find it humorous and ironic. It's something you can have on your desk and people will ask, "What is that?" or "Where did you get that?". They're unique and definitely deserve the following they've earned.
