Outstanding tool! If you walk a dog in public locations, I highly recommend Sabre Red OC (Pepper) Spray. Works well on bears and attackers. I have 30+ years experience with Sabre, with a Navy and law enforcement background. I have taught self-defense classes in the past. Learned the hard way long ago never to trust any OC spray, other than LE Sabre Red. This stream version works better in light wind situations, compared to the shorter-distance cone version, but get the cone version if you are not able to quickly hit a target with this spray. Realize most dangerous animals are able to duck from this OC spray, if used from over 8-feet away and the can is held steady. Aim this spray for the forehead. Definitely get a second can to practice out in the woods on some trees in light wind, if you have never used Sabre Red before, and watch some YouTube videos.

You can see where you are spraying. Great product

Why is this better? Because you can SEE the stream. With the smaller sizes you have no visual confirmation that you are on-target; you can't see that tiny, clear stream. More than one dog (and owner!) has regretted attacking my dog. We never walk without this.

I asked a cop acquaintance of mine what HE was using for OC and this was it. I keep it on my person in the unfotunate day I encounter an off-leash dog or set of dogs who see my dog and I as prey. Proven to work on two legged animals also (bonus). I've always preferred straight-stream delivery over gels (from my own law enforcement days). OC is a great, non-lethal option to make your point and give you enough time to escape. A very useful option for most people to carry. If you've never used it before, just be aware of the general wind direction were you're standing when you spray. There are a small percentage of folks whom are not as affected by OC, so just be sure you 'lay it on' liberally and always have an escape route. Great size... great flip-cap safety... great concentration. 4 stars only because i haven't had to personally deploy it yet.

The dimensions in the description are incorrect. It is not 7.76 inches tall or 2.03 inches wide (diameter). The actual measurements are 6.5in x 1.5in. The same size as most 4oz pepper spray’s.
