My son has used a star light identical to this one for quite a few years. It recently got dropped and broke, so we replaced it with another one. This time around the lights are noticeably brighter, but otherwise it's identical. He loves the color changing while rotating. My only critique is that it's not a simple on/off button to get it right back on to how it was, but other than the need to push multiple buttons, sometimes multiple times to get back to the specific light color you want, this thing is a 10, especially for the price. He loves this and that's all I need for it to be 5 stars from me.

This kids nightlight ceiling display is amazing! It creates a beautiful, calming scene on the ceiling that my child absolutely loves. The colors are soft and not too bright, perfect for bedtime. It’s easy to set up and works great throughout the night. Such a wonderful way to make bedtime more fun and comforting — highly recommend!

Works great. Rotation is optional and not super fast. Stars project to ceiling and walls with defined edges. The buttons work well, no real complaints except that the gearbox in it is very loud. A quick squirt with some silicone + Teflon spray and it's *silent* now. Daughter loves it. Only loses 1 star because I had to pull it apart to lube the gears, they could have put a dab of silicone lube on it before assembling. Great nightlight though.

I’ve got to share with you guys about the awesome star projecting night lights I found for the kids. I swear in the last 7 months I have bought and returned probably 25 different types of nightlights to combat bedtime shadows. This is a lifesaver. Paul had found another projecting night light that was $50 but since Daphne and Waylon have to have everything the other one has I went on a mission to find something similar but not so expensive. I’ve read countless reviews and looked at other consumers videos and photos and prayed this would be the one to replace the small Christmas tree in Daphnes room and the 2 wall night lights and small table night light in Waylon’s room. We are on night 2 and these are AMAZING. You can have it projecting one color or multiple, have it rotate or not, or put a globe on the top to make it not project. I’ve found the perfect setting for each of them and I couldn’t be happier. They light up the room just enough without being too much. I admit when I got home and saw them yesterday, I was skeptical because they seemed kind of cheap and didn’t seem like they’d do much but the darker their rooms got the better the projection got. I think I may have to buy two more so if these ones die I have replacements. Worth the $13 for sure. If you have a child who has bedtime shadow problems or know someone who does, I can’t recommend these enough.

Love it! Got it for my toddler but I find I love it myself. Makes bedtime easier, different colors settings and rotation. GREAT value had it for about two months no issues

Kids like sleeping with night light and the stars was what they wanted. I’ll start with positive. The night light is light, and easy to turn on and off. The instruction were clear to use. No problems there. The kids LOVED the stars ⭐️ and that they were able to change colors depending on the night. The rotating starts was such a hit, until they weren’t. The stars stopped rotating after a week. I tried changing the setting, changing to different pattern nothing. We had to return it. We did end up receiving a new one. After about 4 months, the new one doesn’t rotate also. And now instead of rotating it’s making this very light kind of annoying sound of ticking ( as if it’s trying to spin but can’t) we now just have to play their Hatch music louder in the room to mask the ticking sound.

The colors are very vivid and bright, I actually used a paint marker over the stars to dull it a little. My toddler’s favorite color was the soft white for a calm bedtime color and about 2 months into using it it’s beginning to flicker on and off and essentially stop working. Lovely thing to discover at bedtime. Do not buy, get a different higher rated night light unless you enjoy throwing money down the toilet.
