I have found that when I make chocolate chip cookies, I prefer milk chocolate or at least a mixture of semi sweet and milk chocolate. These are delicious chocolate chips and I do wish that local grocery sold them and not just Whole Foods. My daughter, commented on the size of the chips and I told her where I got them. This is a hard to find product for normal consumers, most of the Guittard Chocolate Company product is sold to high end pastry chefs and candy makers like Sees chocolates. Guittard is an American-based chocolate maker which produces couverture chocolate, using original formulas and traditional French methods. So you start off with Nestle's chocolate chips and say hey pretty good stuff! sure it's a little grainy and overly sweet but good. That is until you taste Ghirardelli chocolate, oh man I didn't know chocolate has great flavor and can be smooth on the palate...my new chocolate of choice. Well until you accidently buy Guittards and find out why its about the best there is, no cinnamony after taste like Ghirardelli, just great coco flavor. This is my chocolate of choice and it may be your too if you try it! Hope this helps.

For the price the chocolate chips were clearly not fresh and mostly were stuck together so unable to use that in baking.

I ordered two bags of chocolate chips. The first bag was perfect whilst the second bags chips were old and crumbly. Not impressed as they were bought for Christmas baking and I couldn’t use them.

I ordered these because I wanted to make chocolate chip cookies, no chocolate chips were in the bag just one lump of chalky chocolate because they had been subjected to heat. Very disappointed
