OK - I've only used this once - so no way to know how this will hold up (though, according to other reviews, it holds up really well). I bought this in April 2021. Didn't take it out of it's packaging until just last night (4.5 years later). Was really surprised that it lit right up. No charging necessary. What??? That was my first, "wow - that's impressive" moment. The second was when i used it. One of the reasons I never got around to using it was that I don't have a way to sit up very straight or comfortably in bed, and I assumed you'd need to be at least at a 45 degree angle for the light to have sufficient impact on the book being read. But, I finally decided to give it a try (didn't hold much hope) and, man did it work great, and at the lowest light setting. I was, at most, at a 30 degree angle (resting on 3 pillows - 2 of which are all fluff, barely any lift to them), but the light easily covered the page. (I'll bet it would even work if you were totally prone). I even tried using it as a kind of flashlight (I'm in a new room, very dark at night, with no easy access to lamps when walking from my bed to the hallway), and it worked a charm. Oh, and once i was snuggled down and reading, I wasn't even aware of it being around my neck. No discomfort. Redfaced and regretful that I kept it squirrled away in its box all these years. If I could, I'd buy this for all the bed-time readers in my life. What a perfect product. Thanks, Glocusent, for designing such a stellar neck night light.

I absolutely loved this book light from the moment I started using it. It has multiple lighting settings, which makes it incredibly versatile. When I’m reading at night, I use the yellow light on a low setting. it’s just bright enough to see my book clearly without disturbing my husband. For hobbies like knitting, I switch it to the brightest setting, and it provides perfect, clear lighting. After about a month of enjoying it, the first one unfortunately stopped working, and the return window had already closed. However, customer service was amazingly responsive and truly went above and beyond. They quickly sent me a replacement, demonstrating excellent customer care. I believe the first one was simply an unlucky situation. I’m very happy with both the product and the outstanding customer service, and I’m looking forward to using my new one for many years to come!

This is a pretty good book light. I like that there are different brightness levels and that you can change the warmth of the light. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it says slim, but it is still pretty bulky. I was expecting it to be smaller than it is, but it does what it’s intended to do so it was a good purchase.

This light is so light weight and comfortable and works great for my knitting projects. I wanted something to give me light while knitting without having my extremely bright overhead recessed lights on. This does the trick. Love that it is rechargeable too. Also there are many color options of light to choose from as well as brightness.

Excellent light for knitting in a dark room! It has three settings. I use the brightest, but if there’s more light in the room I can use a lower setting. It’s easily bendable to my desired focus. Battery life is great. Product is sturdy and well made. The price is right.

I love this rechargeable reading light. It's great for reading in bed. You can point the arms directly at your book and there are several light adjustments so you can have the light at the intensity best for you. No more struggling to keep a light attached to a book, or if you fall asleep reading, waking up with a bright light shining directly into your eyes. Another great use for it is if you lose electricity at night: I just hung it around my neck and pointed the arms out ahead of me, enabling me to walk around and function during the blackout without using dangerous candles. Another use is for any time you need a bright light for closeup work. Hang it around your neck and adjust the arms to spotlight your work while keeping both hands free to get the job done. This product is well-made, easy to travel with, and a charge lasts a long time. I also purchased the carrying case which makes it easy to slip it into a carry-on bag when you fly. Do yourself a favor and get both the light and the carry case . . . You won't be sorry.

We got two of these because we both wanted to use the first one all the time! They are the BEST for reading in bed at night! So comfortable, great light (3settings of brightness) and we took them traveling too!

Die unabhängige dreifache Einstellbarkeit sowohl der Lichthelligkeit als auch der Lichtfarbe beider Arme schafft eine ideale Beleuchtungsumgebung für fast alle Gelegenheiten. Dabei ist sie bequem um den Hals zu tragen sowohl im Stehen, Sitzen oder Liegen. Eine wirklich tolle Innovation. Her iki ürünün yorumlarında 1 yıldızlı olanlara bakarsanız şarjda yanmış olan cihaz görselleri görebilirsiniz. Bu aslında bu tip cihazlarda biraz şans meselesi. Boynunuzda veya kullanırken yanma olmaz şarj esnasında olur, ısınmadan dolayı gönlünüz o konuda rahat olsun. Sadece bu tip cihazları değil. Bataryası yüksek bütçeyle geliştirilmemiş hiç bir cihazı uzun süre şarjda tutmayın. Yatarken şarj etmeyin. Müdahale edebileceğiniz anlarda yani uyanıkken ve evdeyken şarj edin zaten bu cihazların şarjı çok uzun gidiyor gönlünüz rahat olsun. Aynı zamanda eğer olursa patlama yapmaz sadece yanma yapar.

This is a great light. Perfect for travelling on plane train and bus. Easy to charge and folds up nicely for storage. It is adjustable for any angle and you can use one or both lights. I imagine it would be great for knitting or crocheting as well or any detailed work that requires hands-free lights.
